Perhaps so, I thought he looked better than Smith in training camp.

Saw that Leveille made it to the Oilers main camp. Nice to see after he went undrafted.

For our opening home games, our lineup will look like this:
Lazarev-Dubois-Fournier Boucher-Martineau-Sorrentino MacSween-Tower-Reginato Bertrand-Smith-Batherson
Deschamps-MacIntyre Beaudin-Gosselin Baillargeon-Paul
And Belanger will likely start friday and Jessiman Sunday.

any idea why Declan Smith is listed on the Cape Breton West Islanders roster for this year? lol I think, and I know this is a wild guess, but maybe the site wasn't updated for 2015-16 when you looked at it?

I watched most of the game on Eastlink last night. There was an interview with Darrell Young. He was asked what the plan was prior to Veleno being accepted into the draft. Now I was talking to someone else, and listening to the interview, but I understood that their plan was to take Comtois #1, with a deal in place with Victoriaville to move up and take Bowers at 3rd. Now if I heard correctly, then Bowers actually would not have been 1st overall in any case.

Darrel Young would have had to say a lot of things to make that scenario even possible .......he knew for sure that Bathurst wouldn't take him ? He knew that Comtois would not report to Bathurst ?

don't know if this is the right place but was told tonight that if you get concussion symptoms, which Hoyt, Peyton has, its auto seven days off

It was well known among teams that Bathurst was taking the sure thing with Antoine Morand so I can see that being true.

A lot of sports have the 7 day concussion protocol. Well it might be early but it's game day at The Nest. Hoping we can get 2pts with our depleted lineup

For those with access to WGN, they are showing the Chicago-Detroit pre-season game that features #37 on Detroit, one Evegny Svechnikov as I type (Tuesday 10 pm).
