Still no news on Olivier LeBlanc or what compensation is coming for the Ranger deal? Certainly not from paid journalists. Have to wait and see if next week flyer insert has some more breaking news

Like him or not he's here to stay. Complaining on a message board for 12 pages isn't going to change much. Only way to voice any displeasure now is by not buying tickets and actually voicing your concerns to the front facing employees responsible for ticket sales. This board can kind of act as a troop rallying place but it's not getting much done to simply post 1 liners like "he sucks" or "I dont like him" or the always popular "he's an idiot"

Havent been for years. Even under ideal circumstances I likely wouldn't be due to the commitment required for all 34 home games that doesn't line up with my job and life.

The "ONLY WAY" to voice your Displeasure now is by not paying tickets !
- Radical Choice and one that "some people" are still willing to make .
The commitment required to attend all 34 home games that doesn't line up with my job and life !
- that is "YOUR" particular circumstances ...I know ( as do we all ) that attending Eagles Games is the highlight of a lot of people's entertainment during the Winter . The Fan Base is quite a bit older and those Seniors truly enjoy the night out and watching as Stompin Tom says .....The Good Old Hockey Game and couldn't imagine not going to see their Beloved Eagles . Yep ....most of those folks are not on these Boards zinging one liners but they do care ....just in their "own" way .
- You can voice your displeasure to the folks that call ( I know I did ) and as of "Right Now" ...I have not renewed My Season Ticket but if I do and I would say it is 60-40 that I will ....when I go in to pay ...I will "again" tell them again how I feel and how I feel The Board / Mainly Cote in my opinion have made the wrong choice in the guy they have running the On Ice Product .
Funny Thing about Sports Fans .......cheering on your Team and attending the Games ....is much like Riding a Rollercoaster.....and what it can do to your stomach with the ups and downs ...but we do it anyway ......Go Figure !
- When you choose to be a Season Ticket Holder ....I believe the notion that "there's always next year , takes on a little different meaning" ....you may not truly believe it ...but Boy do you want it to be !

Is this a rant against me or in general? You're kind of all over the place so it's hard to tell. I've never judged anyone for choosing to commit to season tickets. I just choose not to do so for my own reasons. That and telling people how to voice their own concerns are not in any way linked together. If you want to complain and still buy tickets, why would I judge you for that or see an issue with it? Not my money, or more importantly for me, time spent. I hope those who continue to renew do so enjoying the games just as much now as they did 5-10-15 years ago when most were also ticket holders. I don't enjoy the on ice product near as much, personally, which helps weigh into my decision to only go to games i'm really interested in seeing or can make without missing something else happening. I'm sure only not the only male in the 20-40 or so age demographic that would attend more Sunday games with a 7pm start time during the NFL season. Add in the traditional Sunday family dinners usually happening on a Sunday afternoon i'd say many wouldn't mind seeing the odd later start time for Sunday games. On the flip side the odd Saturday afternoon may not hurt either. But all that stuff will end up as white noise when compared to the bigger issue of Dumont being in command of another rebuild for fans who as you say just want a night out and don't care about quality of the product. Very easy to run a team when the majority of ticket holders have no expectations of success and are more concerned with being "out" for a night.

The talk has gone to season ticket and how people shouldn't buy them if they aren't happy. Which I do agree. But in this case from the feel of the conversation I'm wondering does the Eagles have Flex packs or 15 game packs? I only ask because I know Halifax does and some reason that Jake have for not going it seems like it would be the answer. I know over all I sound like you don't want any at all but I'm sure they're other people who have other commitments like yours, that this will fix.

But despite how I feel about Dumont and the direction the team is going I did renew my season tickets.. But I have a feeling I'll be regretting it fairly quickly

I believe we offer some sort of package like half of a season ticket one or something alone those lines. I am not happy with Dumont being resigned but I still renewed my 2 season tickets, simply because I enjoy getting out to watch some hockey

I am not happy with Dumont being resigned but I still renewed my 2 season tickets, simply because I enjoy getting out to watch some hockey The mooseheads have been doing 15-game packs with most of the perks of being a season ticket holder for quite a while now. Seems to be a really good option for people who can't make 30+ games a year. I would be surprised if Cape Breton doesn't have something similar considering it seems to be such a good business model for their provincial rival.

As one of the people that consistently call Dumont a moron, idiot, etc.. Calling him names gets you nowhere, but I honestly can't praise any coaching decisions he's made. As for the GM aspect.. I can praise a few different trades.. but at the same time I take some of that back based off what he didn't do.. *cough* Bowers *cough*...

The fact that you can just waste a 4th overall pick in the middle of years you're expected to go for it and never have to offer anything but "he was the top ranked player" as the reason for it brings me back to the horrors of the Ilya Kovalchuk fiasco of 15+ years ago. That 4th overall pick is now a 9th overall pick with nothing else in return. A top 5 pick, like one that netted us a top pairing Dman, is pissed away at a time where what we needed was pretty much 1 more top pairing Dman. And this for a player that we had at least 1 team seriously interested in and we turned down the offer that might have also netted us extra depth that likely puts us in position to beat an SJ or maybe even flip the whole season and have home ice for a big 7th game after a top 5 finish. Maybe we'll use our Euro pick on Laine this year. I'm told he's pretty good. Maybe we can convince him to come here.

Honest question... You were/are as upset with this Dumont thing as anyone but are going to renew for another full season. What would it take for them to lose your business at this point? Would there just have to be no team to support?
