those pesky Sens are actually not terribly far behind the teams directly ahead of them and after a very slow start are pretty much in every game now..... kinda playing essentially the way most people predicted they would They have managed to get two coaches fired so far - and none their own LOL !

Those Pesky Sens took 2 points from Vancouver, a OT and a Shootout loss. But the craziest of it all Is that Sunday night Murray got injured somehow in Warmup and is week to week, Daccord(Who got his first NHL win this week) got hurt last night an Gutssavon had to come in not to mention that Murray's original backup Marcus Hogberg is injured. Crazy goalie cycle in Ottawa, good thing we have 4 days off but all Signs point to Gutssavon starting Monday night as the Sens play 3 games at home next week, it will likely be Gutssavon and Kevin Mandolese as backup. To make matters even scarier apparently according to the article at one point last night Gutssavon skated to the bench with what looked like a blocker hand injury, I guess a nerve thing losing blood in his hand unable to feel fingers till you get heat on it. www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/senators-gustavsson-next-man-net-amid-unbelievable-run-injuries/, via Sportsnet. I don't know if I've ever seen a team with 3 goalies on the IR at the same time before.

Ottawa only lost by a goal to Winnipeg Mon night, and now having had their schedule slightly adjusted play back to back against Edmonton tonight and tmr night, I think Ottawa is finally on the Upswing with some good young players and some goalies that can stop the puck Finally.

Weird that they fired their goalie coach. I thought they got pretty good goaltending this year with all the injuries.

Not sure on what scale is that overachieving.

since starting season 1-8-1 they are 12-15-3
if it's relevant somehow to say they are only 6 points ahead of Buffalo it should definitely be relevant to say they are only 5 points out of 5th in the division
they are way better than the idiot savant said they'd be
again the word overachieving not being used
in pretty much every game.... no guaranteed 2 points
much of it done despite Murray being terrible or injured
bye again felicia.... don't come back

I said Ottawa would be a bottom 5 team and they are, take out any team's worst 10 game stretch and they'll look better. Ottawa is who they are 30th best in a 31 team league. Only you would paint them as some kind of overachievers to stir the pot.

Connor Brown is on a tear right now, and picking Victor Mete up off waivers there going to be a team to be reckoned with very soon with all that youthful talent and other than a few blowout games, Ottawa usually makes it hard on their opponents, I wouldn't want to play them.

Love the way Brady Tkachuck plays.....so wish The Habs had taken him instead of KK . He is gonna put on another 25 lbs of muscle and be a Top 5 Power Forward in the NHL .

It's wayyy too early to make those calls. Guys like Tkachuk are useful but you need good centers to win. The Habs were able to trade for a better PF in Anderson.

Tkachuk is 5 years younger with much more upside than Anderson and less injury history. I have a feeling this post is going to be bookmarked for a long time.
