This guy is super entertaining.
He is right about their pitching. They have a lineup that can do damage but the pitching is subpar.

Man, the Astros are a nice team. Just beating up the Jays this weekend. Being a Jays fan hasn't been fun for me this weekend. Nice to watch a game though with a decent crowd there...

The Toronto pitching just isn't up to playoff standards. looks like they rushed Pearson, he couldn't find the plate. Should have probably give him another couple rehab starts and an easier matchup to start.

Robbie Ray has really found his stride. Almost 25 innings in his last 4 starts against TB, OAK and ATL x2. 33 K's, 1 BB. That is incredible. Especially given he faced ATL twice. He could really save his pitch count by finishing off hitters earlier (easier said then done of course). He seems to get to 0-2 a lot, then throws some crap that nobody would ever offer at to get to 2-2 or 3-2. But regardless, can't complain about his performances lately.
Matz needs to follow his approach, as they are fairly similar. Matz can be just as dominant, but has struggled with efficiency lately. Pearson will get on track soon enough, and be part of this. Starter 5 remains up for grabs at this point, and may be via a trade down the road. They need another RHP to break up the lefties more as the season goes on.
Sucks that Kirk got hurt, he was really providing some batting pop. Good that Jansen has contributed again though. Guriel needs to get better, as does Biggio. I really wish Bo would be more selective, and get the average up, but he provides power and RBI's from the SS position. Rowdy has been pretty bad this year, and is capable of more.

They really need some better hitters on the bench.

Jays keep rolling! They are 20-16 and have played 25 of their 36 games on the road (plus 100% of their home games on the road lol). This without Springer, and some patchwork needed at the back of the rotation and in bullpen roles.
Tough series with Philly coming up, given the SP situation for the series. Jays have some great looking SP prospects coming along nicely though.

Even signing Springer with all the question marks didn't get the proper coverage in my opinion. MLB teams are partially built based on their home field. If this was a 14-22 team there'd be people here crying about the pitching. But even 4 games over they're crying about pitching lol for the most part the pitching has been excellent considering its what everyone views as the main obstacle to doing anything this year.

Jays offense is 6th in the MLB in runs per game. Is there anyone in the batting lineup even exceeding expectations at this point? Jansen, Guriel and Tellez have been well below where they can be, as far as the regulars go. This lineup will wear pitching out throughout the year.

They've also played the hardest schedule in baseball so far www.teamrankings.com/mlb/ranking/schedule-strength-by-otherThey won't really see any of that change either until later in June when they hit a 9 game stretch agaisnt the Orioles / Marlins.

5 losses in a row and just a clusterfuck of execution in all 5. Pitching, hitting and managing was just awful. I hate TB. I don't know how they consistently get clutch hits from guys you have never heard of. Disasterous 5 games.
