Here is what I can see for a roster to start...
Tatar(4.8M)-Danault(3.1M)-Gallagher(3.75M) Drouin(5.5M)-Suzuki(863k)-Anderson(5.5M) Toffoli(4.25M)-Kotkaniemi(925k)-Armia(2.6M) Byron(3.4M)-Evans(750k)-Lehkonen(2.4M)
Weber(7.85M)-Chiarot(3.5M) Edmundson(3.5M)-Petry(5.5M) Kulak(1.85M)-Romanov(894k) Mete(735K)
Price(10.5M) Allen(4.35M)
Plus Weal(350k buried) and Alzner(3.95M buyout)
For a total cap hit of 80.8M(700k cap room)
Taxi squad:
F-Weal(1.05M) F-Vejdemo(700k) F-Belzile(700k) D-Fleury(771K) D-Ouellet(737k) G-Lindgren(750k)

According to cap friendly the cap space is 383K they show Weal on active roster and Evans not...
Those are the names expected to start the season...is everyone healthy? did anyone opt out?
I don't think Toffoli is going to be on the third line
would Poehling not be a taxi squad guy ahead of say Vejdemo or Belzile?

I would be surprised if weal was on the active roster just because they are in tight on the cap and they can add 300k by waiving him and putting him on the taxi squad. He can still be 13th F and play 10-12 games as needed and get send back on non game days. I have not heard of any injury concerns or opt outs. They should have 3 pretty balanced lines, a guy like Toffoli would probably get PP time ahead of Danault. I just had Toffoli there as Drouin clicked with Suzuki and Anderson's size, speed and power game fits there. The reason I didn't have Poehling is, he needs development time, I would rather see Belzile sit for 40 games and play 15 than Poehling who can use a full(or full partial season0 in the AHL. Poehling is set up for a bounce back year after a tough rookie year IMO.

Another thing, I could see the Habs signing a brassard for 1M or less for one year to be the #4 C. Evans could be taxi squad or start AHL.

Plus, even on the 4th line he'll have very solid wingers in two Byron/Armia/Lehkonen. Plus he would be close to home(Gatineau).

It's a good no risk, medium reward move. Frolik had some excellent years, though he struggled last year...57GP 6-8-14. The year before he went 16-18-34 in 65 games. He has also been a good defensive player throughout his acreer. At this point he is the 9th winger on the team behind Gallagher, Tatar, Drouin, Anderson, Toffoli, armia, Byron and Lehkonen.

it's a fine move he is a fourth liner who can kill penalties I like the move as well. Good kid. Professional. Good contract. Really like the moves this team has made this off-season. Now let's have Cole Caufield to continue to improve and have a strong WJC.

Guys like Primeau Caufield Romanov Fleury Evans Poehling Harris etc can play at the correct leven and don't need to be pushed to fill a spot.

I agree for the most part but Poehling seems to be taking a little longer than most people thought and he doesn't seem to be in their immediate plans . As a First Rounder who seemed to come out of the gate strong , I guess his maturation is just taking a little bit longer . With Romanov .....some TSN and Sportsnet Guys see him with the Big Club ....this Year .

Poehling was never an offensive whiz, not in NCAA for sure, I think that hat trick he got 2 years ago impacted his preparation and expectations last year. He needs to be refocused this year, has to play a skating 2 way game similar to Danault. He won't get by just on skill without the hard work component. I think Romanov is a lock for the Habs, but they don't need to rush him like Mete a few years back, he can start 3rd pair with Edmundson or Kulak and even skip the occasional game if he struggles with Mete jumping in.
