Yeah looks like a stud. Solid build, tons of power, good eye at the plate. Excited to get the season going. The offense will put up some crooked numbers. I suspect this will be the most common lineup while healthy. Springer Bichette Guerrero Teoscar Gurriel Chapman Kirk Grichuk Biggio Randal Grichuk has been dealt to Colorado for OF Ramiel Tapia. There were rumours the Jays were interested in Brett Gardiner as a 5th OF with speed off the bench. Tapia will fill that role. Jays saving about 5 million which gives them about 25 million to play with if they want to stay under budget. Michael Conforto could be a target here as the big LHB in the middle of the lineup. Isn't Conforto not vaccinated? That would be a deal breaker. Like moving Grichuk though. He never developed much beyond what he showed up as. More speed on the bench is definitely a good thing.

Trevor Story was also unvaccinated but got the shot in order to sign with Boston. Wiggins for vaxxed when he was gonna miss money. If the Jays offer Conforto a quality contract I doubt he’s gonna put up a fuss. Toronto gets picks for Ray and Semien and forfeit one for Gausman. They in a position to forfeit one for Conforto and not come out at a loss. Nobody else can say that.

Grichuk batting in the bottom 3 and platooning wasn't going to work for much longer - especially where the Jays needed LHB and speed more. He can hit homeruns and hit them far, but he lost his consistency as his role was lessening. I expect him to improve and keep putting up good numbers with a change of scenery. Good shake up for now anyway. He and Biggio at the bottom of the order should give Springer/Bichette some good RBI opportunities (if that is where he goes)

The move may very well have nothing to do with Conforto despite the fit. With Grichuk gone, it may free up full time AB’s for Kirk at DH.

They would have if he signed last year when they tried to sign him, but instead he expected the QO and played for 18.5 mill instead of taking it was believed to be 40 mill over 3 years by the Jays. I think he made out alright. The guy especially now that Grichuk is gone I thought they should have brought back is Dickerson. Unfortunately he signed with St Louis for only 5 mill. Now I don’t know what he was told but man I think he would be a great fit still with the new guy. Conforto on a Semien’s last year deal would be great other than the QO.

Isn't a DUI enough to cause border issues or is that a myth?

Isn't a DUI enough to cause border issues or is that a myth? Found this info - it would appear that it won't be much of a problem for Walker. Another thing to remember is that he hasn't been convicted yet and that may take awhile. Travelling to the USA with a DUIWhen it comes to travelling to the United States from Canada, the border agents will be able to see a number of details surrounding any charges you may have because of an agreement between the United States and Canada to share criminal history information. Typically, if you have received a one-time impaired driving conviction and are trying to enter the USA, you will be granted entry. However, in the case of a more serious situation such as a second DUI or a DUI incident that involved injury to another individual, you may be refused. At the end of the day, there is no hard and fast rule, and whether you are allowed entry or not will depend on your specific situation.

www.tsn.ca/toronto-blue-jays-nate-pearson-out-for-a-while-with-mono-1.1781118I remember a time not too long ago with this franchise where a top prospect going through all these ups and downs would have completely derailed the organization, the media, and the fan base. I don't see Pearson ever hitting the peak that was projected 2-3 years ago at this point. But man he always seems to have something come up that takes him off the radar for a bit. And thankfully the teams hopes don't really ride on it at all.

From what I have read about him, he is prepared to the point of being obsessive ... he basically spends his offseasons in a lab studying pitching and his body. Unfortunately, he just can't seem to stay healthy ... as they say, the best ability is availability.

A pitcher needs to be conditioned complete many repetitions of the same motion. With knowing as little as you do about their training regiment as you do, I'd say they are in great shape for Pitchers. both have thick lower halves to be able to drive the ball 100 times a games.
