Just noticed that rookie Dman, Guhle, led all Habs in ice time vs Toronto. Impressive. I'm a big fan of his. With the poise he has, I truly believe he will become a star in this league. Another strong game from Guhle tonight. Led the team in ice time again with over 24mins.. Also picked up 2A. The kid is just 20. The team as a whole had it's best game of the year. DeSmith had a great game for Pit, Montembault wasn't as sharp. I thought every forward line generated numerous chances. Dadonov had by far his best game. Drouin as well, though he has only played two.

Thoughts on Pierrick Dubé.....and his chances.
We know what he did in the Q....including his 12 goals In 16 playoff games last season.
Will he ever make it to the "Show"....with the Habs?
Also, after just one AHL game so far, he has 2pts.

Also, after just one AHL game so far, he has 2pts. He also had a good camp. Won't be easy to find AHL ice time, Slafkovsky is likely headed down once Armia returns and they already have 15 forwards. Encouraging start though. Anthony Marcotte @anthonymarcotte · 20h Les trios dans le désordre à l’entraînement du Rocket ce matin. Pas facile de faire des choix avec autant d’options. PL Dubois is playing with a 1yr contract this season with Winnipeg with a salary of 6 million.
I feel that the Habs would like to sign him after seasons end......but probably not at 6 million.
He is only 24yrs old...so his age fits for the Habs, plus he also has size.
Yes, his career has been up and down. Very inconsistent.......but does anyone else think that he will be wearing a Habs jersey next season?
I do.

He might give you 30 goals and 60 points or he might give you 20 and 45. Too inconsistent and not talented enough for the headaches he creates. I also doubt he’s going to sign for less then 6 (on a long-term deal) unless he has a train wreck of a season as I don’t think the players ego would allow him to take less. He’s still going to be an RFA after this season also so unless they want to pay real assets to get him, I’m guessing he has another home next season other then Winnipeg.

I mean if the Habs are the team he REALLY wants to go to you'd have to imagine if he signs there he will play his heart out, but then again who knows...He's really talented when he wants to be.

I find he's been pretty consistent for a young player..here are his PPGM by age: 19-0.59 20-0.74 21-0.70 22-0.46 23-0.74 Other than his 20-21 season where he was traded during the season and had to isolate for 2 weeks with no practice, he has been pretty consistent. My main concern would be why did he ask for a trade out of CBJ and why won't he sign long term in Wpg. In terms of his play on ice I would take him for sure assuming the price makes sense. Part of that equation is how Dach looks this year and does he project as a #2 center.

No part of him learn from the drouin failure dont repeat it Drouin's main issue was injuries and partly expectations. He's been the same player he was in TB for the most part but injuries have derailed many seasons.

I'm not a Montreal fan...(as you can tell lol) but you guys definitely have a really good and young exciting team. Arber Xhekaj is especially very fun to watch.
