Just to elaborate on what Johnny said a lot of people inside own my group have stopped going . People you sat near and became Friends over the Years with have fell by the wayside . "Entire Sections" of Fans have disappeared thus killing a lot of the atmosphere / social side of attending a Game .

"Entire Sections" of Fans have disappeared thus killing a lot of the atmosphere / social side of attending a Game . I can relate in my case (up until this year) my team was still very good but I still don't miss going to the games leading into covid i was losing interest and covid just killed it really i can only imagine how much worse it would be for you guys given how poor your team has been as well

I mean two of the most valuable assets on earth are time and money, and the Eagles really haven't given people reasons to want to spend either on them over the last 15 years
Last night was a perfect example as tickets for every seat from Section 8 to 15 were given away to first responders and people that helped with the clean up of Hurricane Fiona and one look at video from that end of the ice shows those seats as barley filled anymore than usual lately.

In my own opinion (strictly my own) I believe alot of the passion and individual talent that had previously brought me to the rink has been coached out the game. Great players don't get a pat on the back from coach anymore and get told to go out and score a goal. Everything is completely micromanaged into cycling the Puck time after time and only getting the perfect shot off that 99 times out of 100 never does come. Players in general don't seem to care if they win or lose anymore, and there's no real vile or heated rivalries between any teams anymore that would give an average fan any extra motivation to go to a game. There's no Conor Garlands anymore that could singlehandedly change the outcome of a game through individual talent. There's no Phelix Martineaus, Declan Smiths, or even any George Davis' who as soon as they stepped on the ice you could instantly tell they would go through a wall for their guys out on the ice.

Not part of the homestand, but tough loss to Sea Dogs just there. Ruccia had a good game, hopefully he needed the competition to Satny and will improve now.
I don't like singling guys out but man did I hate Thurston's last shift. 6v5, the puck came to him 4 times and every time single time he threw a low percentage shot at the net instead of keeping the puck moving. And then taking a shot at a guy after the buzzer went. Bullshit shift.

Didn't watch the stream so I can't comment on what happened.

Both options likely get him a day off.

way too many penalties for the eagles in this game , two for too many men on ice and what a giveaway for the Connor Trenholm goal .

It's a disorganized mess on that bench right now, I have no idea who is coaching anymore. Ivan/Johnson completely out of gas on those last 2 goals..my lord they are going to need an oxygen tank on the bench.
I thought the last 1:24 was a little panicky...Fullerton out there was a bit of a surprise as well.
Thurston is questionable on the ice in that situation. Oh well, on to tomorrow in our desperate chase for 2 points. Could be a little bad blood brewing after 3 in a row.
From a look at the ice time it looks like a few guys have fallen in the coaches bad books.
Ruccia was very solid!!

For all his Physical Gifts , he makes a lot of Silly Decisions ....and Why ? somebody has not dropped their Gloves with him yet is beyond me because he is loose with his stick and loves the little shot after the Whistle ......and he keeps doing it .....been doing it since he got here .
