since trading for Gravel, Baie-Comeau has went 6-4 in 10 games with him in net and he has a 2.71 GAA and 0.892 save percentage during those games...
Ciarlo moved to a worst team in Blainville and went 4-5 in 9 games with a 2.82 GAA and 0.912 save percentage...
It's interesting to see these goalies trade places and Gravel does worst on a better team, and Ciarlo does better on a worst team. Still early of course.
will be interesting to monitor the rest of the way up to the playoffs.

Sometimes it's best not to screw with what's working and the Drakkar did that.

I get Ciarlo's numbers weren't the greatest in BC but he wasn't god awful by any means. Hope it doesn't come back to bite them.

I mean being a Mooseheads fan and knowing there's a shot that these two will face in the finals, I'd take it. 😅

Justin Boisselle a former 1st rounder for Blainville that was traded to Gatineau for a 5th during the trade period now has 18 points in 21 games since joining the Olympiques. Pretty good bounce back for him.

also Gatineau are 7-1-1-1 in their last 10 since shaking up their squad, pretty impressive.

since being acquired by Blainville from Baie-Comeau, Olivier Lemieux has 11 points in 14 games and had only 1 point in 14 games prior.

what a decline Maxim Barbashev has had this year...from 65 points in 67 games last year to just 27 points in 46 games this year. Weird for sure.

Is Chicoutimi the most underrated team in the league?! Really looking like it lol. They're young but an all around solid roster.

They have a lot of good young players, but I think you'll see them move a couple in a deal for an elite veteran scoring forward. Masse, Guite, Huang are untouchable, but other guys could be in play. Plus they have 2 1sts. Halifax would make a good trade partner.

I don’t think paying for a 1 season 19yo would be wise considering their core will still be 17-18 but if they keep on having good results they might accelerate with the Mem Cup in the league.

If those 17-18yr olds are elite enough, you can justify accelerating your program. Chicoutimi falls into that category imo. Regardless, they will be a juggernaut the next few seasons.

When I look at their roster, I wonder if YJ would prioritize a top pairing defenseman over a top line forward like Cataford. Might actually be more prudent for the Sags to target/pry away Owen Phillips if they are picking up the phone to call Cam - and he fits their age group perfectly.
