A part of me is happy when Baie Comeau does well. Weird to say as a Halifax fan lol. They're a classic small market team, but they always drafts and develop well. They somehow always have solid euros. They make timely trades. When they're suppose to be at the top of the cycle, they are. Always ice a very competitive team.
People always heap praise on Rouyn for being a small market powerhouse. BaC isn't far behind imo.

also looking at Baie-Comeau's roster, it's kind of crazy how good they're doing and the fact that they could ice a pretty similar roster next season depending how the trade period goes. Wouldn't surprise me if they add some 19 YO's that could return as OA's, and they also have lots of pieces to move as potential futures as well. Right now, I'd say they have a solid group that could return as OA's anyway. The older Jules Boilard, Olivier Ciarlo and Felix Gagnon would be an excellent group, that's not even mentioning Anthony Lavoie on defense. The Drakkar will end up moving 2004's out in the draft because they have more than 3 guys already that can play as 20's and play well. that's true actually, they're in a pretty solid position all around. They could move guys like Seymour, Lampron, Poirier, Lanthier, Bernier, etc. as well whenever they need to rebuild.

A little surprised there...I thought Cibulka would make more sense for them, but then it is Drummondville, and I disagree with both their moves so far in terms of the type of player they are getting versus their actual needs.

Damn , he would have been the perfect fit for Moncton. He’s exactly what we needed. Peddle probably headed the other way

I like Komarov's play, I think he and Lamoureux will be very difficult to play against in the playoffs.

Cibulka definitely the biggest euro fish on the market now.

I agree that Komarov is better, but Drummondville has specific needs for more offense which they aren't prioritizing.

You always need impact players.

Komarov and Huchette are both listed as healthy scratches for todays game. They couldn't have had a better last game with Quebec last night. Coming back from 2-5 with 11 minutes left to win 6-5 in regulation, Komarov scoring a highlight reel goal that started the comeback and Huchette finishing it with the winning goal. Forever champions!
