I agree with you, I think Brenton will be put on waivers or whatever they call it for 19 year olds. I never seen Petterson play once. so I have no opinion on him. The D's look like what I predicted. Forwards look like pretty close to what it'll be also IMO. Anyone know when Fomin will get here? I still think Stephens or Lessard might be on the bubble. Time will tell

For a guy who is 18, Blain doesn't do much for me. He shows flashes but he is not very physical.

Downe I had heard will be back for Wedensday game versus the Sea Dogs however also heard that the Wildcats are recommending he be sent down to his MAAA team for more seasoning and development as they don't want a good 16 year old kid sitting on a bench as their 7 or 8 D. I don't think I totally disagree with that approach. Besides he's an hour down the road if they should require his services.
Have to say though I was totally impressed with his game last night. Technically he's all there and if he was on another team he probably wouldn't be going anywhere and would have been signed long ago.

I think practicing with the cats can't hurt him either.

For a 16 YO, he shows alot of poise and intelligence.

If they knew for sure Voynov was coming, I'd keep Downe and trade Boyle. With Dimitruk Savard Gormley and Downe, he is expendable.

think of how much better Dimitruk would have been if he stayed here last year. Same scenario apply's to Downe.
