I know for a fact that the plan Flynn has is to play MacAusland with Sill & Brannon @ the beginning of the year and see where it goes. I think that line would be very effective.

I think it'll be a decent line. I hope Flynn doesn't change his mind.

Milson & Molotkov got cut today.
Vye will be with the team when Riopel goes to pro camp. Not sure if he'll stay with the Cats till then or go to JR. A till then and come back when Rio leaves. Vye will play JR.A rest of the year unless injuries.
Not sure about Fortune, I know Lane's on the team and will go with 15 forwards or 16 with Fortune.

Too bad Moltkov did not get here sooner, he could have maybe wresteled a spot from Lane or Petterson. One thing that plays against him is he plays the same type game as Brannon lessard Sill and Roski while Lane brings the "enforcement" and Petterson some speed. I can't see Fortune staying ahead of anybody else.

OK so that's the lineup. How will they do? I think its average defence for a month and considerably above average after that and for the next few years. Above average Goaltending. Average Offence unless Fomin is another Karsums, and or some vets really have breakout years. Certainly Biduke is prepared to play and I hope others as well.

I think our strength will be our back end. It all comes down to what kind of year Riopel has. With Barberio and Savard back there and new guys like Gormley and Dimitruk and possibly Voynov.. our defence looks good.
Our offence should be better this year, especially if guys like Brown and MacAusland step up and have a breakout year. Also, Biduke is coming into the season in great shape. I hope to see more from Randy Cameron this year. I was disappointed with his play last season.

Biduke is in better shape and looks quicker/faster, his ability to finish was never in question. Cameron has looked faster and more assertive, if he takes the next step that's a big key. I can see Brown also taking the next step, and MacAusland also to a lesser extent. Famin will also be a factor, if he can contribute 45-50 points then you have another line that can score behind the Cameron-Biduke-Eagles one. I think you'll see decent production from Roski, Tremblay and Bissonnette in spot duty...15-25 points.

The KEY of the whole year in my opinion is Riopel staying healthy.
On a side note, you'll see Vye with cats on several different occasions. Probably few games when Riopel goes to NHL Camp. Also in November, I think Louis Domingue goes to Under-17 Camp and misses time in December also if makes it.

If the rest of the team steps up, Riopel won't have to be very good every night for the Cats to win.

If Gormley can become as good or better than the last player to wear his number..... Also, I notice Bell is not listed.
