Wonder what's the problem with the video, thank god, I'm not home trying to watch the games...

Looks like the Q trying to get rid of fighting is going to result in a lot of stick work and cheap shots. Rio was run over and what....only a 2 min minor. Maybe now our goalies are now going to be targets among others. Even the low skilled players will be taking liberties with the skilled players. There will be nothing to send that message any more. Fight and you are gone.

So what's up with the video? Because I know they've got the cameras set up at the rink. Hopefully it's not a longterm problem, especially for the fans of the away team.

I hope this game was better to watch then how it sounded cuz it's sounded like it might have been alittle sloppy with the exception being the goaltenders but then again I couldn't see a thing.

I like with what I see from Riopel so far this year. He seems more confident and less shaky. Hopefully it continues throughout the season. Anyone know how many games he'll miss because he's going to Montreal Rookie Camp. I know Cats next game is only next Saturday. Will he miss time?

It normally is a 2 minute minor ... has been like that for years there has been quite a few hits on goaltenders over the years and the vast majority collect the 2 minute variety penalty nothing really new there.

It's pretty hard for him to be less shaky than last year, he basically had no "shakiness" last year, he was the WC best player.

Mayer is actually going with him lol ;D I think they'll miss next weekend's games I know Mayer is slated to miss 2 so I assume Riopel will miss the same.

Having 7-8 players out is unreal.

2 points is 2 points ...if it's in the 2nd game or the 62nd....... good win by the Cats tonight...I said I felt it would come down to goaltending....and Mayer Muffed up at the end on the final goal. Kudos to the ENTIRE Sea Dogs UNIT...they had a GREAT 2 games.... no need to hang your heads boys ...great job!!
Nice split...coulda had 4.

Right in that 2 points is 2 points, so congrats to Moncton on the win. Both goalies look very good out there so kudos to Riopel and Mayer. The wrong part is it didn't come down to goaltending at all. That last goal never cost us the game. Plus Mayer's "muff up" was a result of trying to poke at the puck with his stick because Gauthier broke straight up the ice on the faceoff hoping for a breakaway, which basically was our only hope of scoring in time to tie it up. If Mayer didn't try that, maybe Moncton doesn't score, but we still lose 2-1. Was a sloppy game as should be expected given all the players missing, including the ones Moncton is without. The only annoying part was on the way out some Moncton fan says to us "Yeah and I thought this was your go for it year". WTF buddy we were missing 9 players from our starting lineup. Hell even if both teams had everyone in that game, we could still lose easily. How many leagues in hockey do you see a team go undefeated? Christ.

You have to remember that not all the Moncton fans realised that Saint John was missing so many key pieces. The casual fan most times just follows his or her team. Ignorance is bliss.
