Wildcats travel to Saint John to play the SeaDogs on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats are coming off a 6-0 win in Cape Breton on Friday night, while the SeaDogs are coming off a 3-2 OT loss at home on Friday night against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
Good test for the Cats. Riopel vs Mayer. Should be a good game. Really looking forward to taking this one in.
4-2 Cats.

Should be a great game this afternoon, I have been looking forward to seeing the Cats in person.
As was said, should be a great battle between Mayer and Riopel...I don't expect to see too much rough stuff, but I'm sure the animosity will build between these two provincial rivals as the season wears on.....3-2 Dogs in regulation is my prediction.

Anyone hear if Stephens injury is serious? He has quickly become a key member of our offence.

Well the Dogs are lucky the score is only 1 zip. If they do not tighten up defensively this could get ugly.

Well that sea-dogs first pp unit sure gets enough icetime, for a contending team this year,Beaulieu better find himself a second unit or he,s gonna burn them out.Didominicno(however you spell it)just doesn,t seem to want to get off the ice.

Now that makes a goalie look bad.

How many times did the Cats (especially Brown) strip the puck from Sea Dog players today?

Well played game by all the cats and a well deserved win. They demolished the two teams who were supposed to be the powerhouses in the division in back to back games. Really good to see the scoring coming from different lines/players.

Ok, after back to back "waxings" of 2 of the leagues better teams in their own barns, I am now on the bandwagon and its a smooth ride so far......Now if I were GM what to do at Xmas, I don't think much other than trade a draft pick or two for a little more offense if at all. Another thing I'd do would be to unload Lane, I just don't have a use for him with the new rules and I can't think he can keep up, especially the way that Flynn has been rolling 4 lines so well.

I thought most of the predictions I saw had the cats at 4th or 5th and CB at 2nd or 3rd.

...Another thing I'd do would be to unload Lane, I just don't have a use for him with the new rules .... If the decline in fighting continues (assuming there is a decline, certainly is in the games I have attended) I think the league, and bottom dwelling teams are going to be hard pressed to find other promotional tools to keep attendance reasonable. The possibility of a couple decent scraps can have a positive affect at the gate if your team lacks offensively, especially in those markets who trade their best away for prospects at Christmas. Perhaps there is not a decline in the other divisions, and this is just a Maritime division phenomena? Just my imagination?
