POS just like his dad and brother.
Did you see that pompus ass at his jersey retirement on saturday at the bell center. No former teamates on the ice with him because they all hated his guts.
Just watch the highlights and look at that smug grin. i hope the Wildcats wipe it off his face this year.

15 games is way too much for that if you ask. Looks to me like the guy was coming at Roy, who didn't want to fight, and put his stick up (just with a little too much exhuberance). 5 games maybe, 15 is a joke. I've seen that done countless times in the Q in years past with the result generally only being a minor penalty or a 5 minute major (next to little supplementary punishment).
In all seriousness, what is the Q going to do when they actually have to go back to playing Canadian hockey at the Memorial. This pussified hockey they are playing now is going to but them behind the 8-ball.

You can say what you want about the "pussyfication" of the Q, but they are producing more NHL talent in the last 5 years than they did for the 15 years before(after Lemieux Lafontaine etc) with all the goons. The OHL has seen the same thing for the last 7-8 years since Branch took over and started handing out big suspensions. Since then they have developed a lot of young skill players. I love the odd tussle but not at the expense of having goons run your #1 goalie like in the Laval days of John Kovacs and comapny.

How has he ruined the league? They have had huge growth, huge increase in attendance and a big rise in the amont of NHLers produced over his regime.

Might not be goon hockey at the Memorial Cup, but there will most certainly be hard hitting, hard-nosed hockey, with players pushing it to the limit. This type of hockey is non-exsitant in the Q these days because the players are scared shitless they will be the next 15 game suspension. These kids can't play like primadonnas all season in the Q and suddenly switch it back on at the Memorial Cup. Watch a Q game, than watch a WHL or OHL game. You're on some sort of drugs if you can't notice a difference in the intensity level since the Q implemented these new garbage rules.

You're right, players should feel free to cross check the opposition in the face without fear of a suspension, I'm sure it happemns 20 times a night in WHL games Was it not 2 years ago the Q had 2 teams in the Memorial Cup final?

It was 3 years ago, and they've been at the bottom ever since.

Cross-checks in the face do not belong in any hockey league.
