Cats host the Mooseheads on Saturday night.
Will the Cats give Vye the start or give Riopel the start? I'm assuming Riopel will play all the games while LBD is gone.
4-2 Cats.

I expect to see Rio in nets for both games on weekend.
I say 3-1 Cats, I expect a very sloppy game.
With Domingue, Bissonnette, Gormely at U-17's.
I expect a lineup like this
Lessard - Cameron - Eagles MacAusland - Sill - Brannon Brown - Stephens - Lahey/Famin Lane - Pettersson - Lahey/Famin
Boyle - Barberio Jodoin - Savard Bell - Dimitruk
I think you'll see Roski sit but won't be shocked if it's Lane...
Go Cats Go

Always sloppy games after the Christmas Break. Everyone is trying to burn off those holiday calories....myself included hahaha Halifax will be without Knotek (World Juniors) and MacMillan (now with Rimouski). I say 5-1 Cats. I'd like to see Wendell Vye get some playing time but expect to see Rio in nets. Will Lane be with the club? Heard he was released by the Cats over the break.

Not sure about Lane, but I do know Lane & Stephens are scheduled to get into Moncton late tonight...

I heard Lane & Stephens are stuck back home in Yukon. Their flights got canceled today. No idea if they'll make it on time for the game or not tomorrow night. In meantime Cats have 2 guys practicing with the team, Chuckie Schembri from the Dieppe Commandos & Matt Milson from Miramichi Timberwolves.
Famin scheduled to get in tonight and Lahey in the morning. No idea if Famin will be in lineup, he was rumored to be injured in World Jr's Qualifications.

I think this game is up there with the Lewiston one for bad games. I think the Cats thought it was going to be easy after dominating the 1st and forgot to come out for the 2nd. Give Halifax credit for working hard...but the Cats played like they ate lots of turkey.

For a team that you claim as a top contender they sure get in a lot of 1 goal games with the lower level teams

Cats had very good 1st.
They looked plump in 2nd, awful 2nd.
Not a bad 3rd IMO, a win in a win but when you can only beat Halifax 3-2, tells me that they aren't a contender. They are probably 1 D and 2 F's away from a contender.
On side note, I thought Dimitruk played very well tonight paired with Barberio.

They have nearly 30 wins, I doubt they were all against bottom feeders.

Since when do you measure if a team is a contender by the first game back fter Christmas against a bottom feeder? It's funny how the sour pusses from other teams' come here and spew their venom when the Cats don't play very convincingly against bottom feeder teams. ;D
