On the theme of this forum for now, I'll start one. Whats some of the most impressive performances, individual or team, that you've seen while watching the Q? Keep it 90's and up (ie Q comes east)... no need for Mario Lemieux stats What got me thinking about this was easily the most impressive feat I've seen by a player... Ladislav Nagy's back to back to back hat tricks in 1999. Remparts come in followed by tons of media as they were set to tie the record for longest unbeaten streak. Nagy promptly goes out and scores 3 spectacular goals in game 1 win... game 2, more "nice" goals and another hattrick in another Moose win. Game 3 of the weekend was against BC, where Nagy scored another 3 goals, although most of the garbage variety in this one. Still, the most impressive individual achievement I witnessed. Another worth mentioning is Crosby's first game in Halifax after the world juniors where Rim won like 8-3 or something... he was on a completely different level, looked like he was 5x faster and stronger than everyone on the ice. Absolutely dominant one man show. And yes, this was the infamous "Standing Ovation-gate"

Fleury's 02-03 1st half where he had a Jr A Eagles team around .500 and then went to Halifax and had a memorable WJHC that resulted in his #1 overall draft selection.
Cam Fergus' hat trick this past season to 1st break the Eagles team record for goals with his 48th and then score his 50th on the 3rd goal was also pretty memorable.

I would have to say Riopel's first game in the Q at home against Bathurst. He single handedly got us the 2 points with his 50 save performance.

Ramzi Abid's performance in the first two games of the 2000 Memorial Cup was insane (in fact, his play that entire season was pretty darn good).
Back-to-back hat-tricks in wins against the WHL and OHL champs, Barrie and Kooteney, was incredible to witness.

Richards shut him up pretty fast...... ;D

Thinking back to last year, the Mooseheads' 11-1 win over Moncton was about as dominating as I've seen and showed a powerplay (4 for 6) that could do no wrong. The Mooseheads did this without Voracek (and Suchy) and with Kennedy in nets and Moncton had a few more PPs then Hali.
The 9-1 Halifax win vs. Bathurst last year was pretty impressive as well. I remember in the first period I think Bathurst scored on their first shot but Halifax stormed back and scored 5 unanswered goals in the first period. Halifax went 5 for 7 on the PP that night and Bathurst 0 for 10.

What about Jamie Brown back in the 1997 playoffs. I can't remember much about the playoffs but just the fact the Brown tore it up and didn't he have a 5 goal game (something like that... kinda fuzzy on it). He ended up with 23 points in 18 games and his 12 goals were only 2 short of his total for the season.

September 27th 2002, Jonathan Ferland scored 6 goals and 2 assists in a Titan win 9-0 against Rimouski. Mathieu Benoit's performance of 8 goals in 98-99......

A Midget team could have beat us that day. I don't think thats impressive so much as expected.

This doesn't really count towards a single person, but more of a most enjoyable win for me. '03/'04 season. First year the Rocket hit PEI. They made it to the post season and were taking on the Quebec Remps in the first round. Games 1 and 2 were held at the CCC, while 3,4 were to be held in Quebec. The remps took the 1st game 3-1. Led by Shkotov who had 2 goals. Game two, the next night was a must win for the Rocket. With a 2 goal performance, Max Lapierre took control and sent the game to OT........... The rest is history: www.wikiupload.com/download_page.php?id=193721&code=2ss2click download file on right Then the Rocket went on to play the Wildcats to a series that was IMO, a classic!......and on performances, Jon Boutin played great for us in that series Vs the Cats......especially in game #1 in Moncton.

That kind of offensive outburst minus Voracek was impressive to see.

I've seen a lot more playoff series then you I'm guessing and this is FOR SURE in my top 3. Game 6 in PEI was just...amazing! Sanford, everyone's favourite player came up big in the one. Also for most of the series we got big plays from Corey Crawford.
