He played for QEH at 15 because he wanted to play with his brother...he played for the Subways at 16 and 17 though. For some reason I thought he played there at 17. Nope, played on a line with Ben Duffy at 17

PRidham, Drost, Cisse, Kennedy will most likely be dropped before the draft along with some other 19 YO's who have no chance of making the lineup this year.

As of right now, we have 46 guys on our list, and will lose two to the expansion draft, bringing us to 44. I think Will goes on a special list ... bringing us down to 43 ... but we will be adding three guys from Shawinigan at/before the draft, bringing us to 46. We currently have 21 draft picks, plus a euro pick ... obviously some of these are going back to Shawinigan ... and some might be used to bundle to move up in the draft or add veterans for next year ... but my point is we are going to have to clear a lot of guys off of our 50 man list to make room ... say we end up making 15 picks (out of the 22 we currently have) ... that would mean we need to clear 11 guys off the current 50 man list prior to the draft ... some marginal vets may be moved for a 2013 pick ... Here are the guys I can see not being on the 50 man list much longer: Drost, Pridham, Cisse, Kennedy, Langille, Zielonka, Granitto, Holmes, Stephens, Gacek, Cameron MacDonald.

I think we'll draft 2 Euros so a few of those players or picks could move to move up in the Euro draft.

Do you know where he is currently playing? No idea, I just say it on twitter, I think the Yarmouth Mariner's drafted him but he doesn't seem to be on their roster so probably in NFLD

No idea, I just say it on twitter, I think the Yarmouth Mariner's drafted him but he doesn't seem to be on their roster so probably in NFLD I did a little research and learned he was originaly a highly touted player from NFLD. The Mariners were happily surprised to take him with their 10th overall pick. He was also MVP of the Newfoundland major midget league. Drover had 57 points last season, 32 goals and 25 assists. Around the same numbers as Snow. He's described as a finesse player and offensive force. I still couldn't seem to find where he is playing though.

Found it. Central IcePak Major Midget hockey club. 3 goals ,10 assists in 8 games played. He's currently second in league scoring , trailing only Jordan Kennedy(forward).

For some reason I always thought the good offensive players put up a lot more points than that in Newfoundland, probably because Welcher had something crazy like 150 points the year he was drafted. Does anyone know if it was the same league or whether Welcher was just that good?
