Gagne Beaudoin or Proulx did not crack Team Quebec U17. Not a big surprise, none of the 3 is tearing it up so far.

Mark Simpson is really playing well lately... up to 10-12-22 in 24 games including 5-5-10 the last 6 games.

I wonder if he'll get a Christmas call up similar to Johnston since at least Hodge seems to be gone.

No point having Simpson play 3 games out of 10 with 4 line minutes when he can get big minutes(2nd line and PP) in Jr.A.

He could come up and be a decent player after Christmas like Johnston last season but we will be adding players this trading period not subtracting. He'll be good for us next season , I'm happily surpised with his progress. Especially after snagging him in a late round of the draft. He can an excellent camp too.

I noticed that Philip Zielonka is no longer playing in the states, he currently with a team in the BCHL. I wonder if there's any chance ,since he's playing in Canada again, that he joins the Cats after Christmas ? He's a 93' born and would likely be an impact player that could play on our second line...
Thoughts ?
