SO McSorely backed it up against Brasher when he clubed him? What about Bertuzzi suckering Moore?? Kana threw a gloved punch in a scrum...you dont have to be tough to do that... So Kana "suckerd" Bona? Bahahaha......get real man. Nope not suckered...but you dont have to be big and tough to throw punches in a scrum...youd have to agree with that?? No?

They were face to face.......pushing and shoving. Did Kana throw the first couple punches? Sure, someone has to right? If he pushed and shoved, then turtled, then sure, he did not back it up. However, but for him to actually be looking up to Bona and standing in there and toss some punches with him, he backed himself up IMO. Bona was right in Kanas face......as was Kana in Bonas face. No, they didnt skate out to center ice and do a dance first, the tossed punches and the kid did well for himself. My point is, Kana is not big.......but he plays big. He hits anyone, and hits them hard. If they dont like it and want to start shit, Kana is not one to run away.......he'll back it up by sticking up for himself.

IMO, they'll be the better matchups within the division.....

I agree with the PEI guys here that it is good to see your euro (or anyone) not back down from rough stuff. Even though he didnt get into an open fight with Bona, he still stood in there and traded shots rather than skate away looking bullied.
I saw it again on tape and basically it was Bona "steering" Kana out of the crease with a shove... Kana then wallopped Bona with a gloved punch, Bona then moved towards him and gave him a shot with the glove, then Kana threw another hard shot back... Bona then shook the gloves off and as he was grabbing Kana you could see the mark on his face had started bleeding... he threw a couple decent shots, overpowered Kana with his size to grab him, and Kana held on (probably smartly). Bona got cut by the initial exchange, but won the fight once the gloves dropped, although it wasnt much.

So Kana "suckerd" Bona? Bahahaha......get real man. Watch the Eastlink feed. Kana punched him with the gloves on once or twice but then dropped one glove and semi suckered him (I think that one caused the cut). Bona dropped them in response and Kana no longer wanted to fight when Bona started throwing them (or back it up when the other guy was swinging back).
