Just because a Rocket fan said something doesn't mean that is what happened, the guy is from PEI remember....im sure there are lots of Rocket fans out there that probably know him or his family. The fact is it was dirty and it was a stick to the head plain and simple and he was punished for it. I would say the same about a Rocket player or any other player if they did something that was uncalled for. Like when Emery hit Lappy in the face with his stick, well I like both players and Emery plays on the team I follow and even though I knew Max probably did something to piss Emery off (cause that is the way he plays) I never felt that he deserved to be hit in the face with the stick and I thought Emery's punishment was warranted.

anytime that a player goes to an nhl camp it is somethig to be proud of...gallant didnt get there with them thinking he is the next crosby or anything close to that....he got there because of his physical game , which is the game he plays, i dont think the high stick was intentional but he is responsible for it....he scared the shit out of the rocket players , which is his job .....southy picked up for his team mate which is what all great team players will do....5 and a game was enough of a penalty to get for the high stick...wish the rocket had a player the same as gallant....then the good players could concentrate on playing hockey and winning a few games

over and done with* he will serve his time. went to the sens camp. all he did was open some eyes. had a win over arron boogaard* yes one of the best fighters around* so to the rocket fans who were down on brett ask savard what he told brett* could play for the rockets anytime. you would love to have him. and if you say no you would not you would be lying to yourself. pug*

His job is to fight. Thats why he is a QMJHL player. If he couldn't fight, he would not be playing this level of hockey. He may not be an idiot.......but he is a goon. |

Just funny to see so many SJ fans get all reved up over a guy who has very limited hockey skill...........it's actually kinda funny.
