Vs Lewy comes into town Wednesday with a 1-1 record. In two games they scored 7 goals and allowed 6. So far, lead by : Giliati= 3-2-5pts Tutalo=1-3-4pts and a few players with two pts. Lewy will be lead by young tender Peter Delmas until Bernier comes back from the Kigns camp. Euro Dman, Denis Reul (6'4"-214lbs) was just sent back to Lewy from the Bruins camp so he may be in the lineup Wednesday night. In two games the Rocket are 0-2, while allowing 11 goals and scoring only 5. Going 0-3 at home to start the season will not be good.

Going 0-3 at home to start the season will not be good. Depends on the way you look at it. Another loss at this point could mean another nail in Jean's coffin, something that I don't think many Rocket fans would find disappointing. I don't blame any of the Rocket faithful for being mad, as I would be also. You can't continue to bang your head against the wall expecting different results. I know the name Savard takes a beating around the board here, but I honestly think that the whole family wants to win, and win in Charlottetown. I don't think they like pouring money into the hole in the bottom of the boat just for something to do. I think they know the pressure is on to perform, and they are getting the big hint by the few tickets being sold. Bottom line is I think you'll see Jean go sooner rather than later if the trend continues. As Yogi Berra elloquenlty said in New York, "It gets late early around here." If Jean doesn't turn the Rocket around in a hurry, it's going to get late real early. Although it is a tad early to be beating on the drum, this Rocket club should be a top 4 team this season, in my book, and last season was a bitter pill to swallow. That team last year was a second round team, and although the epic game seven against Bathurst was one for the ages, the wrong team ended up moving on, IMO. Looking at the game, Lewy is coming in with some growing pains. Seven new faces are going to see considerable ice time. The talent and skill is there, and it will be interesting to get your view of them. It's just three games in on the learning curve, and as a result, there will be considerable mistakes. Hang in there, people.

I expected a better start for the Rocket not sure what's going on but it doesn't help much missing Latal and the defense needs to help Lafleur out
Sorry but for what it's worth I'm gonna say...
MAINEiacs 4 Rocket 2
Delmas is gonna be tough to beat and Lewy has a very solid D core similar to SJ could be another tough night for the Rocket.

I don't disagree with you ps.. but the reality is Savard hired Jean.. Savard gave him a 3 year contract without first finding out whether he could actually be a head coach in this league.. Savard has publically given the fans false hopes of better times ahead for the past 3 seasons... and yet it's same old same old.. so Savard's name is going to keep getting the criticism until things change

Savard has publically given the fans false hopes of better times ahead for the past 3 seasons... and yet it's same old same old.. so Savard's name is going to keep getting the criticism until things change I honestly don't think that Savard has intentionally misled fans with false hopes. I think his hopes and the hopes of the Rocket faithful are right in line... all want to win. The buck stops with Savard, no question. Ultimately, he (and the whole family, for that fact) is responsible for Jean. I can agree with the criticism that signing Jean (or any league newbie) to a three-year deal was irresponsible on his wallet. That said, it's not irreversable. If the Savards were truly sitting in their box watching golf as alluded in the posts here about Sunday, if I am Jean, I am not too comfortable about that today. I don't think the hemmoraging will last long this season. Either Jean turns it around fairly quick, or he'll get turned out the door. The team is in Charlottetown for the foreseable future as there is no other place for it to go, agreement extended with the CCC or not. The Savard's are forced to sleep in the bed they made, and it will be up to them to make the most of it, or sell and get out of the league, which I don't see happening.

Possible lineup:IMO
Walker-Mo-Latal ---Put this 3 together to get them going early. They played together a bit in pre-season and when they did they dominated, even though it was "pre"-season. I think having them all on the top line will help them all get in the "groove" so to speak.
Kana-Doyle-Locke --Locke despite his poor showing so far should get a chance to show his skill on this line....for a couple games or so at least. Kid has skill and could be dangerous for us in the offensive zone.
Schmidt-Lachaine-Cliche --Actually a decent threat for a 3rd line, IMO.
Main-DesRoches-Paynter ---Wow....talk about the "Grind Line"!! Would be fun to watch!
Wright MacLean Street McKinley

The way Jean uses his bench and the way the games are being called.. third and fourth lines are of little use
It is good news that Latal is coming back.... I'm gonna throw out a radical lineup
Morrison-Walker-McKinley Kana-Doyle-Latal Cliche-Lachaine-Locke Street-DesRoches-Paynter
Main-Gervais Lessard-Southorn Swit- Deighan (hopefully)

My suggestion is to try either Schmidt or Locke for a few games (NOT A FEW SHIFTS) and see if either of them show some chemistry. Morrison-Walker-Schmidt Kana-Doyle-Latal Cliche-Lachaine-Locke McKinley-DesRoches-Paynter Lessard-Southorn Main-Gervais Swit- Malouin I also think we need Main back to help our defense as that has been our greatest weakness so far and it has only been one game each for our 17's but IMO Malouin looked far better.
