I feel that the guy's need us to show up for them more now than ever. There is a lot of presure on everyone from management down to perform on Friday. We will get better results from the guys if we not only show up but make some noise for them to spur them on for a full 60 minutes. The Rocket should give free tickets to the first 50 people that want to sit together in one or two groups and make it their job to cheer the boys on for 3 periods. It's not like the seats are being used. I've showed up for every game....except for three.....for the last three seasons. Why should I not expect the same courtesy from the players? If they're not going to show up for games, then why should I? I bought my season tickets.....I've already given Savard and the Rocket my money. I've bought into his rhetoric year after year after year. And yet, every year it's the same thing.....a good team with no apparent system.......a coach that seems to have no control over his players and has no idea how to coach (as is evidenced by his continuous play of the top lines, and lack of development of some of the younger players)......and a GM that can't (or won't) bite the bullet, and do what's probably right for the good of the team, and the fans. It's a shame that Daddy Serge doesn't rule this team with the same tenacity that he played the game with. ;D

Why not attend and protest? Not attending sometimes send the wrong message, let's support our PEI Hockey Team by showing up and if your not happy(which we certainly have good reason to be) then express your opinion the old fasion way "booing" Rockon!

Why not attend and protest? Good question. Attending and watching the team play hockey like its a pick up game where someone tossed the sticks each way and no one knows each other or has any strategy in place is more frustrating than entertaining. I've paid my money for the season so its wasted the question for me is do I want to waste my time on top of my money? To go and protest may not be a waste of time and might even be fun. Reason number 5 to go to the game.

I agree, it can be very painful to watch. What's even more frustrating is the fact that they can play very well, as a unit, at times. From a fan's perspective, you would like to think that it's just a coaching problem, but I'm sure it is must be a huge task to get a bunch of talented and egotistical teenagers to buy into a specific game plan.

If its such a huge task then get somebody else in who can do the job, obviously there are other coaches in the league getting the job done that have teams sticking to a game plan and system. If Jean is back next year i am NOT renewing my season ticket, period. I've had a seat all five years but there won't be a sixth unless we get a credible coach that the players will put out an effort for.

Might also help if they can stop drafting stiffs like Boutin and Lund in the first round

Is anyone? If we lose our home game Friday night, then again on Saturday in Halifax............it won't be pretty. Hopefully Darcy won't play "Riot" by Three Days Grace......or it might just happen! ;D ;D Is Friday a "must win" game already?

Serge will have to make a move soon, especially after being ranked so high on paper. Friday night's game may be a pivotal game to "shit or get off the pot"!

This team needs to find a way to win. Simple as that.
I think most of us on here believe that the Rocket have the talent to to be a top 3 team in this division.......I do anyhow.
If I were Savard I would do my best to find out WTF is the issue. Talk to the players......and not just the "top" guys. Talk to all the players, and discuss with them what they feel needs to be addressed.
The games that I've seen so far shows me that their is no system being played what so ever. The players look lost out their, right from the break out play. This is a coaching problem IMO.
If I were Savard, I would be thinking about replacing Jean, but not just for anyone. I have no idea who would be available, but I would definitly try to find someone that will be able to teach these kids, and that will be willing to clean this mess up. No sence in rushing into somthing and getting into a a hole as he did when Alain left......find a suitable guy that will be the right fit.
2nd, I think Savard NEEDS to find a 20yr old. Get rid of Swit, and make a move to show the fans that they are wanting to compete this season.

You have to be kidding - you know better than that! The crowd will do nothing, and say nothing....as always. After all, it is The Morgue! You're right but the time has come. I'll stop at Source for Sports today and buy a new Rocket Jersey to show my overall faith in the team but as a sign of protest I will wear it inside out on Friday and I challenge all you other posters who want action to put the jersey on inside out Friday night.
