Great to see the guys pick up the win and especially the effort in the dying seconds. In the last minute I thought they might have been content with a tie in regulation and take their chances in OT/shoot out for a second point against a western rival. Glad the guys were reward for their effort.
Roy certainly has his troops in tip top condition, uses his bench and plays disciplined short shifts. They skated with us all night. In the last week they played Fri, Sun, Tue, Thur, and Fri.
Hope Jean took notes and our guys have the same life for their 3 in 3 in Quebec followed by the Devils and Oceanic on the 17th and 19th.

It's great for your team that you won but doesn't it concern you at all that the Rocket gave up 6 goals on only 22 shots??? I hope you made them good and tired for the Dogs tonight our guys need to bounce back damn the Moose looked awesome last night!

Well the boys looked awesome playing like a team it was pretty good to see. Played pretty good seen some new plays on the Pk etc they played hard and really never gave up all game. Very Worried About Laf though he is so shaky a lot of them goals were so weak he is not playing good at all. I dunno if its cause of jean or whats going on but hope he knows the rangers are still watching his progress and its not looking good for him he needs to pick up his game in a big way last year he was standing on his head this year hes like meh i don't care it will cost him thats for sure if he wants to make it into the nhl he better smarten up hell he could even loose Number 1 spot on the Rocket and that wouldn't be good. And yes the Defense was some what bad and let a few get buy them but some of the goals that were scored where so weak. Makes me wounder whats in store for him around x-mas time? See a very positive team on the ice last night hopefully they bring there A game to The Metro Center cause the moose put a 5-2 win on the sea pups and they are a pretty good team so it should be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully Rocket take the win. Good game boys keep it up. GO ROCKET GO

Yeah I'd say the defense and whoever plays net I assume Lafleur for this game better be ready for these boyz I watched it on the webcast and it was wave after wave of attacks. Doesn't hurt that they have Voracek and Logan MacMillan back in the lineup!

That is a concern, but for me giving up 2 goal leads 3 times in a game is more of a concern. Most teams don't get 3 kicks at the can like that and still come out with the win. I'll take the win, but still alot of work and alot of improvement needs to be done to get things on the right track for the Rocket and time will tell if that will take place or not.

Main was great tonight in terms of an energy player. 2-3 nice hits.
After he delivers a big hit Darcy should fire up the chorus of "Main Street" by Bob Seger...that would be funny.
Walker....wow! Excellent game from start to finish for him....hits, goals, assists, great positional play and his puck handling was the best I've seen him do yet.
There were some gaffes on the night, but right now I'll take even a sloppy win to get the boys back on track. Steal one tonight in Hfx, which will be tough, but certainly not impossible.

Finally got to a game, and it was an entertaining one. What is the point in having a 4th line? Jean only needs 2 lines plus 1xtra forward, that's how he wins games. Cliche is huge, can't skate, doesn't seem interested in fighting or hitting, very slow.....a perfect player. LaFleur let in softies, but saved the tough ones, but I think this is normal for a goalie who was in a pro camp. I always seem to read how drafted goalies have trouble after being drafted, but they come along, at least the ones with a future do. I think Lafleur needs a little time to get his groove back. the CCC had some buzz last night and it seemed to have some atmosphere. All in all, a great night.
