3 games in a row the Rocket haven given up 6 or more goals in a game. Last 3 Games GF: 14 GA: 19 Jean is making Lafleur look bad... Could it just be that Lafleur is the most overrated goalie in the Q?? Nawww...lets just blame the coach...after all hes letting in the goals not Lafleur. You beat me to it..........I was just gonna comment on how all the hype about Lafleur being so good, after a decent 2nd half last year really doesn't prove nothing, unless you can back it up........Riopel is head and shoulders above Lafleur and a year younger.....people had Lafleur ranked as high as 2nd or 3rd in the top 5 goalies in the league, which I always thought was laughable.

There's five guys in front of Lafleur, (when the coach can get the right number on the ice), who have a chance to stop a goal (let's not even consider trying to score) before the puck gets anywhere near the net. I agree he's had some bad moments and I said in another post he's let some stinkers in this year but he is just one guy and the whole team is misfiring and the guy in charge has no idea how to get the team working together. They don't even have to win to keep me going to the rink and keep following them but they'd better start working like a team sometime soon.

A "top 5" goalie in the Q should be able to post better numbers than what Lafleur has put up even if his team was down a man the entire game... Lafleur had 3-4 good months...hes not as good as everyone is making him out to be, just my opinion.

Riopel is head and shoulders above Lafleur and a year younger..... What NHL team is Riopel drafted by? And Riopel is only 2 months younger than Lafleur, last time I checked there were 12 months in a year.

at this point i dont' care who lafleur is drafted by, i'd just like to see him step up and win some games.....seeing as he is drafted...one would think he would be able to steal us a few games.....not the case so far, not all his fault either....team is in the toilet on the ice.....and i can only imagine the attitude in the dressing room....

What the hell does that matter for this year?........Lafleur is stinking up the Q and will never play NHL if he don't pick up his game by about 300%

Oldest, and stupidest, argument in the book...who cares where a kid was NHL drafted...would you rather Bryce Swan on your team or Brad Marchand??

Ol Porky needs to worry about the Titan goaltending tanderm rather then LAfleur.

Case closed....you cant use the NHL draft as any sort of litmus test.

Ol Porky needs to worry about the Titan goaltending tanderm rather then LAfleur. And then wingman brought up how Riopel wasnt drafted....which basicaly insinuated that he felt Lafleur was better/having a better season than Riopel.

It doesn't matter where you get drafted, as long as you get drafted, right?
Someone was making the case of how Riopel was so much better than Lafleur. Just making the point that Lafleur must be/have been doing something right to get drafted. Not everybody gets drafted by the NHL and it is an accomplishment to have it happen. Isn't that what most of the kids in this league want to accomplish, get drafted?

Lafleur did something right to get drafted...he had 3 good months and is 6'04.... Like I said...some good players dont get drafted...some of the top players in the Q arent even drafted...Ouellet, Culligan, Picard-Hooper, Lafrance...etc etc
