Vs Wednesday, 7:00PM Finally, the Rocket have come back to Charlottetownnnnnn Anyway...... The Foggies are a team that I really don't get to pumped up to see, and this season is no different. Couple things I am looking forward to seeing are: JS Allard- Finally he is coming into his own. Mario Kempe- Nifty Euro player, who has some moves. TJ Brennan- Just to see the hype. Timo Pielmeier- ^^^^^^^^^^^ Mstt Boland- Love to see Gallant finish this chump off. So yeah, 6-3 Rocket win

I've always loved the Foggies games and felt they were always a bit of a rival for us considering they are an expansion team. Of course I had my own reasons for getting up for the FD games....Marty Doyle. When he scored he always seemed to find me in the crowd and point out his goal to me....always good for taking abuse. Gallant and Boland would be a dandy, but I'd rather see Gallant chew up Fillier, who has had his way with any Rocket he's fought so far in the ones I've seen. Allard and Brennan will be nice to watch. Make no mistake the Foggies play hard against us here. Remember we needed a shootout last season to beat them. I expect a decent if not good matchup....and as always it's a must win for the Rocket.

I as well would like to see Gallant get hold of Boland or Fillier. Especially Boland as he has garnered a reputation as a tough guy from taking on much smaller finesse players (aka Jordon Southorn).

I'll go with a loss ... Rocket get up by two... and lose by 1.
4-3
By the middle of the second period Jean will be throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks... rinse repeat... rinse repeat...

Not much hype left in Timo after his terrible start. Even the foggies fans seem like they gave up on him 3w 7L 4.28 GAA .869spct numbers are still better than Lafleur's though

Allan has proved to be the more consistent netminder and probobly deserves to be starter for now but im 90% sure Timo will get the start

I expect we'll likely see Gallant go with Ryan Graham.... those two have had many battles in the CB-SJN rivalries.
Gallant/Fillier or Gallant/Boland will be welcome as well.
Maybe we'll see Wright dressed also, just in case.

Interesting little article in the Guardian. www.theguardian.pe.ca/index.cfm?sid=71910&sc=99From that little tidbit you can pretty much figure out the lines. Walker-Morrison-Doyle Kana-CoonCome-Latal McKinley-Lachaine-Gallant Paynter Lessard-Southorn Gervais-Main Clow-Malouin Gelinas I'm really looking forward to seeing what Coon-Come can do on that second line although it is a little odd to parachute him in on the second line after being cut. Just another example of a poor decision from Jean as I thought he should have been here right from the start. At the same time I'm not sure if that is the right fit for him but certainly am hoping it works out. If that is in fact the defensive pairing I hate that it basically means that Clow/Malouin/Deighan (whoever is dressed) is likely to see little ice time. When you have skilled young players like that you need to give them ice time to develop. Sure some mistakes will be made but with these 3 it is certainly worth the investment, one that could start to really pay off as early as Mid-season if they developed them properly. I'm also really hoping that MacLean is back in the lineup as I thought he has really shown a lot of development already in this early season. He deserves to play certainly moreso than a player like Cliche who I think has had his chance to show what he can do, IMO that experiement should be over. To bad that Locke is still out injured for a little longer. And those high ankle sprains are more serious than they sound as players need that strengh to push off with their skate. I recall Rick Nash had one 2 years ago and missed something like a month. Hopefully Locke can come back healthy soon as I liked the way he was starting to play. Interesting that Gelinas gets the start tonight and for once I like the decision. Not punishing Lafleur just give him a chance to refocus and reward Gelinas for some pretty good starts so far. Here's hoping for a solid effort and the win.

Main on D, Coon-Come to stay, Gelinas starting, 3rd line getting more ice, line combos getting tweaked....certainly will make for interesting viewing to see how it all pans out tonight. The fact that they are making some moves like this certainly implies they are trying to come up with a solution.
At times it can be the smallest change in something that results in a big something. Hopefully these few tweaks are all that is needed to get the team pointed the right way...and yes I realize an upgrade on the D or forward line might be good too, but let's see how these moves go.
5-3 Rocket....Coon-Come with 2 goals.....Gallant with 2 fights and at least an assist.
ALSO....Woody if you're out there....Remps jersey....don't forget it and can you please put some Downie in it.

I'm interested to see how long these new developments last ie. line changes.. i'm also most interested in seeing the team live up to the quote by Jean "we will be ready opening faceoff.. we can not come out flat"
