Vs This game will be Shawinigan's 3rd road game in 3 nights, so if the Rocket come out as hungry as they did vs the Eagles, this game should be another victory..... The last time these two teams met a couple scraps broke out.....and i expect the same for this one. Gelinas to get the start, and a huge Rocket win.

Nice to see you are still making absurd predictions, as well as begging for some fights, Junior ... some things truly never change

SHAW will be finishing up a 3 in 3 here on PEI and i really don't see how they will come in here and take this one. Rocket will win this game convincinly. I hope that coach Chouinard will dress Nathan again, as I heard that he played well last night with the limited shifts he got. This kid can play in this league, and at 17 will only improve.

Easy win Rocket on Friday............... I hope the players don't think this way. If they show up looking for an easy one they'll get their ass kicked. They need to show up and play hard from the get go. Given their track record this season I don't see any easy wins. They have to earn them all.

Thought DesRoches played well on Wednesday also. He definitely deserves to be in the lineup Friday. cb SHAW will be finishing up a 3 in 3 here on PEI and i really don't see how they will come in here and take this one. There is no such thing as an easy win! I never, ever take any team lightly....especially right now.
If the Rocket play like they did on Wed with a full 60min game and try to remember that they are NOT a run and gun team, keep things simple and show the work ethic then there's no reason we can't compete every night.
Take even a few minute off and you end up down 3-0.
Good defence leads to offensive chances.

Rocket expects physical play from Cataractes Big night for Rocket coach Guy Chouinard CHARLES REID The Guardian
Average, middle of the pack, .500 — all describe the Shawinigan Cataractes this season.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League club is 13-13-0-2, seventh in the Telus Division and 12th overall in the league.
It’s also the P.E.I. Rocket’s opponent tonight at the Civic Centre. Game time is 7 p.m.
But Rocket defenceman Jordon Southorn isn’t overlooking any team especially as P.E.I. is 17th overall (11-14-1) and if the playoffs started today would be out of the post-season.
“When we played them up in Shawinigan (a 4-3 Rocket win in October) they were a physical team. They try and use their speed down low,” said Southorn. “We’re looking forward to it, I mean we can handle that. We can be physical at well. So it’s going to be a good game.”
It’s also a milestone game (and anything but average) for Rocket bench boss Guy Chouinard, who will coach in his 1,000th QMJHL contest.
Chouinard is just the second coach to do it in the 38- year history of the league.
St. John’s head coach Real Paiement passed the 1,000 mark on Nov. 2 in Mile One Stadium.
Chicoutimi’s Richard Martel should reach 1,000 games coached in November of next season.
The Rocket organization will hold a pre-game ceremony honouring Chouinard tonight.
Shawinigan is led by centre Cédric Lalonde-McNicoll’s 30 points (17 goals, 13 assists) in 28 games (he had two points in P.E.I.’s win in Shawinigan), New York Islanders defenceman pick Simon Lacroix and goaltender Kevin Maletto’s 2.83 goals-against-average.
P.E.I.’s never faced Maletto, but is 7-2 with over four goals per game against Roger Kennedy, his backup and former Halifax Mooseheads goalie.
The Rocket (6-6 at the CCC) is coming off a 3-1 win over Cape Breton on Wednesday, thanks to a newly revealed physical side as it outmuscled the speedy Eagles.
Southorn is counting on the same ruggedness to show tonight.
“As we saw (Wednesday) it works for us and we want to keep winning hockey games. I think everyone contributes in that manner. Everyone on our team can hit,” he said.

I think the Rocket will take this game. They do for sure need to play a full 60 minutes and throw the bodies around out there. I hope to see them out hit the oposing team too.

Walker, I know walker jumped a guy on wednesday but he does shy away from physical stuff quite a bit this season, Doesnt want to ruin his chances of being traded to WInnin team for the end of his Q Time..... No offesne to any of those 3 but Cliche should use his body, Hate hearing the lets go Shrek chants when he get the puck ,, as for Lachaine, hitting wasnt his thing no complaints there. Rocket Win tonight 5-0 Lets see what we missed on Wednesday, Gallant is due for a tilt as well ;D

Chouinard set to coach his 1,000th regular season gameRocket head coach Guy Chouinard is set to join St. John’s Fog Devils bench boss Réal Paiement as the only other figure to have coached 1,000 regular season games in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League history. Chouinard will officially reach the milestone once the puck drops in tonight’s battle between the Cataractes and the Rocket at the Charlottetown Civic Center. "When I started my career in 1985-86, I certainly had no idea I’d one day get to 1,000 games, especially following my last stint in the League which came to an end in 2002. At that point, I figured that my major junior coaching career was over," said Chouinard. "But, the Rocket organization gave me another opportunity. I’ve been lucky to be able to work with 16 to 20 year-olds who give it their all every night. I really love what I do. It will be a very special game." www.lhjmq.qc.ca/lang_en/index.php?page=232&id_nouvelle=1600
