A quick glance shows that we will clinch last overall with 4 more losses ... or less. We are 18 pts behind BC with each having 12 games to play (Mon at 29, BC at 47). At this point we can only accumulate 53 pts total for the season ... we won't of course. Not considering tie-breakers, we could still catch (we won't) Halifax (53), Rimouski (53), Val D'Or (52), Drummondville (49), Sherbrooke (48), Baie-Comeau (47). So a loss today would release Hal, Rim and VD from finishing last overall. I know ... a silly thing to track since it is inevitable that we'll finish last ... but we have nothing left to look forward to. What do you mean nothing to look forward to? We are chasing records ... longest Q losing streak is close, CHL record also in reach ... perhaps we can celebrate by putting up a banner! So this could turn into a record breaking season?? I smell a banner at the Coliseum!

I mean we all spun this season to death with our accolades of this current seasons shit show of why and who was/is responsible. Not much can be added, I respectively submit only to suggest there is just four home games left and thank Christ for that.

So this could turn into a record breaking season?? I smell a banner at the Coliseum! That was a close call. Almost broke the losing streak against Hal. The boys will need to pick up their socks and start playing a little worse. The record losing streak is on the line. Might as well go for it now that they are so close to it.

With 9 games left, and now 19 pts behind BC ... I believe we have officially clinched last place.

Any info out there on Cyr and what has kept him out of the last 2 games?

After a nice win, an ugly game last night. Should not lose 5-1 to a Remparts team missing 3-4 key regulars.

After the game Rumble said it was tough now but next season his team will make the playoffs. There's a lot of work ahead to put that team in the playoffs next year.
Not only did they lose big, they were also dominated by a team missing 4 top 6 forwards.

In comparaison to their previous games, the Wildcats didn't play much worse than usual. The difference is that Waite let in 3 goals that were softer than baby shit while he usually makes big saves to mask the huge differences in scoring chances.
The Wildcats looked much worse against Halifax in a 2-1 loss but Waite played the game of his life.

As expected road trip....... looking at the schedule and teams with the remaining 6 games, dare say no wins as the bitter end winds down.
I know, probably wasting the energy to type this and the associated bandwidth to post.......
