Moncton is going to be a very small team going forward if they take Pelletier. Taking one small guy doesn't give you a small team. I agree they draft too many small guys overall, but if you can get a star calibre talent, you take that ahead of size. You can draft or trade for size down your roster. I couldnt agree more....I was in the midst of typing the Garland reference just as your post popped up. It sucks not getting 1st overall but I think we will be fine ....just hoping Shannon doesn't screw things up as he has in the past. #nofaithinShannon Go Cats

All of the core guys are pretty small. I suppose that's why Shannon has added size elsewhere.

A big part of the roster will be 2017 Q and Euro picks.

Sure would like to know who was at the ball drop ... names and team affiliations. Were the GMs not invited to see the whole thing take place ? I'm going to guess that the Governors were from BC, QC, Chic, Shaw. They'd be happy to have the #1 overall player playing in their rinks 4 times a season instead of just 1. It makes no sense at all to do any of this behind closed doors. This should give you more peace of mind. www.facebook.com/LHJMQPageOfficielle/videos/1541821252496364/That settles it then ... it is what it is. Now I understand why that was done behind closed doors ... it is a slow and boring process. I even listened to see if all of the balls appeared to be the same weight and consistency.

I see they changed the wording of the title in their article on the website to "receive the 3rd overall pick" instead of "win".
*waves to Wildcats front office*
Now please get rid of that ridiculous "home of the 3rd overall pick" as well.
