O/K, that is what I will do next season, take advantage of those promotions at specific games as not gonna renew as a STH. That's too bad. You'll be missing out on one of the most exciting Wildcats seasons in recent memory. BTW, those $3 off coupons have been around for years now. And speaking as a season ticket holder that type of stuff does not bother me at all. I'd rather have my same seat all season then just go whenever there's a $3 off coupon. As a STH you get a lower per game price than walk up tickets anyway. I want them to do whatever they can to get more people at games. Higher attendance = better atmosphere and more enjoyable overall experience.

If the experience is positive and enjoyable we can always renew following year as a STH, I am quite sure good seats will be available.

They've had those all year at different businesses. Sobeys, Tim's, Montana's to name a few! O/K, that is what I will do next season, take advantage of those promotions at specific games as not gonna renew as a STH. I have stepped away the last two seasons (including this one) but will be buying two season ticket again next year. Mainly to support the Events Center project.

We said this past few seasons we were gonna step away for a break, but in the end decided to stick around. Never know, same may just happen this time at new facility, despite some misgivings. Cats hockey is a good product ,value added for sure with the very reasonable price for STH fees. Being honest, a price increase and the so called parking debate wouldn’t be a show stopper, just trying to come to grips after 15 STH years, is the interest still there. Decision is ours I suppose.

I’ve heard no discussion surrounding this so I have no illusions of this happening but...
With the team moving into a new facility wouldn’t it be a perfect time to do a refresh on the jerseys and logo? The current set is by far among the worst in the CHL. The logo is completely outdated and honestly looks terrible on the jerseys. Most of the merchandise is horrendous. They have made some minor tweaks over the years but it’s basically the same jersey and uniform from 22 years ago. It’s LONG been time for a change.
Does anyone actually like the current look? I’d be curious to know.
I’m pretty sure they would have the resources to come up with something better. Although I feel like I say that a lot with this franchise.

Taken from another forum but this something a user came up with in 90 minutes Its obviously inspired by the new panthers look which the poster made clear.. but still different enough..and miles better than the current look. I'd buy one of these jerseys.

I haven’t given it much thought actually but since you brought it up, have to say time is close for a revamp of the colours, jerseys, logo, web site, the whole team outlook. I won’t get into my pet peeve, which I am sure you know and no doubt, sick of hearing.

RE: The Wildcats look
I agree it needs an update. The logo looks silly and the red/white/blue color scheme is kinda generic.... At least they answer the question "what would the bruins jersey look like in Canadiens colors?"
Personally, I still like the claw marks on the back, they're unique across all of hockey as far as I'm aware... however the waist stripes on the current uniforms really do them a disservice.
Maybe I'll do a mock up at some point.

I don’t dislike the colours of the jerseys but the logo and the jerseys could definitely use an upgrade to make them look a little sleeker and updated.

I'm not opposed to an update but I have no problem with what we have. My fear is any change would become something like what Bathurst did. Their old colours and logos were among the best in the Q ... and now their colours and logo I find horrible. I prefer our whites to our reds, but they need to change laundry detergents because the whites are looking dingy. But liking a colour scheme and a logo is subjective ... what I like another person can hate ... and vice versa. I like PEI's new colours when they switched from the Rocket. I have always liked the Remparts colours ... Val D'or's whites are very nice. I've never been a fan of the Moosehead's colours although probably some bias in that ... again their whites are better than the reds and greens.

Personally I tend to prefer a classic look on uniforms - not a big fan of teams changing their look on a regular basis (sometimes it works, but oftentimes it is a disaster)... like the Original Six jerseys that change very little over the years. I think the Wildcats have strong brand recognition in their logo, and colours - I could see a minor refresh to the jerseys, but can't see major changes to colour scheme or logo. Perhaps add a third jersey like they did the last time they hosted the Mem Cup (black and gold ones) to stimulate merchandise sales and celebrate the new rink. I suspect Mr. Irving feels the same way - look at the corporate logos for his companies - Midland, Cavendish, JDI, Irving Oil (I know different branch of family, but still) - they tend to be classic in style and colour, and they don't change much over time - not companies that are always looking for the latest trends in their colours and logo.

I've heard that next season there'll be a slight change with their jerseys but I don't know what that will be.
The seats in the new rink are red and black, could that be an indication of a refresh?
Take this for what it's worth...

Take this for what it's worth... The return of Important to remember this building is not just catering to the Wildcats so the seat colours don't necessarily mean the wildcats will be those exact colours. The colours go with the entire buildings colour scheme. However it would make sense to try and fit in nicely with those colours so there isn't a awkward clash going on.

Its been announced there will be a new 50 cent per ticket fee in the new building, for all tickets/all events. This is is SMG driven.
Season ticket holders will have this fee waived for the first 2 years & cut in half the next 2 and will start paying full price after 4 seasons.
What will you do with your $17 a year in savings?
