Usually if a guy has a 20% chance of coming they have articles hyping the player and playing up the process and all that stuff. That should tell you everything you need to know. The Wildcats don’t generally stay silent. That's what I'm saying. Silence speaks loudly.

Why do you keep reacting to a lack of news? Its not like he's playing hockey anywhere. Clearly he could still be recovering from his illness and theres some privacy he & his family may want Once he recovers if hes playing hockey in Russia you can react to that but perhaps his family wants him close to home while hes recovering. The paper is mostly used as positive PR and not investigative reporting so I'm not suprised they haven't posted any articles. They arent going to print something without any solid confirmation. Usually if a guy has a 20% chance of coming they have articles hyping the player and playing up the process and all that stuff. Yes ... and that has blown up in their face on a number of occasions ... including this file. Perhaps they have learned their lesson and are now waiting for more of a firm commitment and timeline. The bottom line is that they have to get him out of his contract (if he actually signed one) in the KHL and they are limited by the Q in what they can do there. I would think that the Visa process may also be a very difficult for somebody with a recent illness.

This is a unique situation though, the guy isn't even playing hockey. He's sick. If he was playing in the Russian junior leagues right now I would agree. Until hes playing hockey somewhere theres not much point getting worked up about it every single week posting the same thing over and over. Do you want them to put his updated medical records on the T&T?

Pumping the brakes doesn't seem to be in their vocabulary.

He may be good enough to start working out, but he may not be able to get his Visa for a certain time period after a Doctor declares him symptom free (6 months perhaps). They won't let him come here to be a burden on our medical system.

Here's the exact quote.
"Certaines rumeurs ont cependant laissé sous-entendre que Khovanov pourrait possiblement se présenter à Moncton une fois guéri."

It said he "could be a 3 yr player". That is not hyping him ... that is stating a fact that applies to any 18 yr old player.

A few reporters are saying on Twitter that Khovanov has started skating in Russia.
