Interested in seeing everyone's opinion on odds we see Alexander Khovanov in Moncton this season.
Moncton is the team listed beside his name in all NHL draft rankings I've seen (NHL, TSN, Sportsnet).
Personally, I have a strong sense that he will be here. The real question is when.

I'm thinking he comes next year ... may not play at all this year. He'll go on a special list after this year so we can get another guy at the next draft ... and potentially have 3 in camp.
Not happy about that ... But it is an illness ... just bad luck.

If he doesn't come this year he won't come next year IMO.

I was hoping the Cats would have drafted Zadina that went to Halifax.

I don’t think we will ever see him but with the way our offence looks right now it would be a real treat to add him in the lineup. I wonder how Seitz looked tonight

I wonder how Seitz looked tonight Didn't stand out too much, but they seemed to be easing him in. The sample sizes are still a bit too small to draw any conclusions, but boy this would be a very good forward group with Khovanov out there. IF Khovanov was here and IF everyone was healthy: Pelletier-Cyr-McKenna MacDonald-Tessier-Khovanov Dunda-Capannelli-Blackmore Kuzmin-Hudson-Seitz/Pataki/MacRae That's really not too shabby at all.

Not very encouraging that nothing is coming out. If he was coming Hodge would have had 2-3 articles on his progress. looking like another wasted pick...

Its not like he's playing hockey anywhere. Clearly he could still be recovering from his illness and theres some privacy he & his family may want Once he recovers if hes playing hockey in Russia you can react to that but perhaps his family wants him close to home while hes recovering. The paper is mostly used as positive PR and not investigative reporting so I'm not suprised they haven't posted any articles. They arent going to print something without any solid confirmation.

The Wildcats don’t generally stay silent.
