Theres a picture of Khovanov on his instagram story of him in a wildcats shirt and jacket just posted today I'd have to guess that picture was taken while he was in Fredericton for the VReds Prospects Camp in July. |

I'm going to guess it is in Fredericton also since that is Jake Allen in the photo also. |

Its not a bad sign ... but is he posting a picture of himself in Wildcats garb ... or is he posting a picture of himself with an NHLer ? Which was his intent ? |

Regardless of when it was taken , this isn't a bad sign if he just posted it. Its not a bad sign ... but is he posting a picture of himself in Wildcats garb ... or is he posting a picture of himself with an NHLer ? Which was his intent ? I'd imagine he's just posting a picture with an NHLer. I'm sure he probably doesn't realize that we are waiting for any hint of him coming to play. |

Craig button just released his draft rankings, has Khovanov listed as playing for moncton.. take it for what it's worth

I’ve been told that Khovanov is not under contract with any Russian team. That should put an end to all KHL rumours. He is Moncton’s property.
There’s one last step before he can resume playing hockey. That’s a positive blood test. Doctors are saying that could be another 5-7 weeks.
He plans on reporting to Moncton after Christmas if all goes well.

We've had our share of difficulties with Russians over the years being told one thing and then something changes. |
