Well, certainly hope it all works out. Christ knows the Wildcats need some punch and hopefully this kid provides it.

I've been told we will get an official announcement regarding Khovanov as early as tomorrow.

Usually if a guy has a 20% chance of coming they have articles hyping the player and playing up the process and all that stuff. That should tell you everything you need to know. The Wildcats don’t generally stay silent. So once we get the confirmation over the next day or so that he's here can we finally get rid of this whole "Cats never stay silent" mentality? Maybe they handled things certain way in the past but with Miromanov & now Khovanov they clearly are playing their cards closer to the chest and have learned from getting burned. Lots of conspiracy theories and negativity around Khovanov this past summer buts its clear he was sick, got better and now he's here. I'm happy for the kid and can't wait to see him in action. Just a refresher of the type of skill we'll be seeing.

Hopefully they don't put to much expectation on the kid as he is only 16 years old.

$13 Lower Bowl tickets for Khovanov!!
Joking aside, pretty cool that he shows up just in time to get some national spotlight with the sportsnet game on saturday.

Well that would be a good place to start him, to often they have brought in Russian players and hipped them all up, only to put them under to much pressure.

He’s a first round NHL prospect, coming off a serious health scare. I assume it takes him some time to get up to speed but when he does, he might be your best forward.

is he in town at least? I would hope that maybe he could train with the team, then start playing after Christmas, giving him time with his family of course during the Holidays
