is he in town at least? I would hope that maybe he could train with the team, then start playing after Christmas, giving him time with his family of course during the Holidays I would assume this is what will happen.

After taking Jakob Pelletier and having Alexander Khovanov, would one of our mods please change the damned title I don't know about you all, but i'm fed up of reading the sarcastic "winner of the 3rd overall and loser of the euro draft" phrases . thank you

He should eventually be an impact forward as soon as his health is fully back. Having him report is important for the Wildcats.

Once everybody is healthy they will have a lot of bodies...
G(2)-Grametbauer(19) Waite(18)
D(8)-Welsh(20) Miromanov(20) Aspirot(18) Lecoultre(18) Arsenault(18) Auger(18)Tucker(17) Bellamy(16)
F(15)-Dunda(20) Tessier(19) Pataki(19) MacRae(19) Seitz(18) McKenna(18) C.McKenna(18) Cyr(18) Blackmore(18)Kuzmin(18) Campannelli(18) Khovanov(17) MacDonald(17) Hudson(17) Pelletier(16)
25 in total, I assume 3-5 will move out during the trade period and 1-3 will come in...

I’d say auger and MacRae are toast

I think they need to hang to the bodies for a few weeks until the Trade Deadline when they have more room on the roster. Also, in case Khovanov has a setback or takes longer to get up to speed.

To me, they knew going into the year that they were rebuilding, so they probably have a deal or two already done for quite some time(Welsh for example), but ya , i'd like to see them be patient during the deadline...but team management need to have a plan...are wer all in next yr, or the yr after?...We are extremely weak on D next yr, to me we need to get an 18(Joseph, just a wish, but that type) AND 19(Sylvestre as rumored) yr old this yr. all this depends on the price of course.
With Campannelli and Khovanov, we probably have 7 top 6 fwds, so we could move Campannelli or Tessier depending again on which year the team wants to go for a run. Thats could help us get those dmen..

I don't think I would trade Tessier - Cyr - McKenna - Pelletier, these are the four of the hardest working forwards we have, Aspirot - Lecoultre - Tucker - Bellamy we would need to upgrade our defence Seitz - Khovanov - MacDonald - Pataki - the rest I would see if their would be any interest in trades, Goaltending I would stay with Grametbauer & Waite. with the new arena opening next year, and the Memorial cup being hosted in the QMJHL, I am sure it will be all in next year.

I wouldn't trade Tessier either. The only reason to trade a 19 year old is if we will have too many next year. Tessier is a hard worker with lots of skill. Blowing up the team was last year, we only need tweaks this year. Welch is great but he cost us a lot and we need a younger him. He should be worth a least what we paid for him. I think his deal was struck when we acquired him.

With Khovanov coming in plus Pelletier and Cyr, that's 3 guys that should be playing C.

I mentioned it in the Mooseheads thread, but I'll bring it up here too: there aren't many good '98 born players in this league that are likely to be back next season.
I'd worry about trading Tessier because... well Moncton wants to compete next year, who's replacing him as an overager? It's not like there is an abundance of talent you could bring in.
