to follow up on this point i'd be more concerned of possibly losing him to an ohl squad at some point down the road That too is my thought. Does he have younger kids at home ?

Does he have younger kids at home ? Two boys, early teens I think.

Sprong scores!
Looked dangerous on a few other opportunities with Henrique and Ritchie
I am tapping out before the end of the 1st (late game).
Total miss use of the raptor in Pittsburgh.
#11 is back doing what #11 does!

Sprong has been on fire since joining Anaheim. 3 goals in 5 games including a shootout winner.
As of when I'm currently writing this, he has an assist against his former team so far.
Great to see him doing good.

Congratulations to former Rocket/Islander Ryan Graves!
Ryan will make his NHL debut tonight for the Colorado Avalanche vs Las Vegas.
Great to see another of our guys make it to the NHL.

Jimmy Oligny traded today from the Golden Knights system to the Jets system.
He’ll report to the Manitoba Moose, their AHL team.

Great to see Ryan Graves get his first NHL goal. And against his former team. I would say he will be a diamond in the rough for Colorado.

Nice article here on Jimmy Oligny: www.nhl.com/fr/news/jimmy-oligny-releve-le-defi-de-conjuguer-famille-et-hockey/c-304049950It is in French, to get the gist of it, you have to run it through a translator. In the article, Oligny talks about becoming a father at 18 while playing on PEI and the challenges that come with being a minor league player and having a young family. Oligny has climbed through the pro ranks the hard way. His most recent contract was his first two way deal with an NHL club. His recent trade to the Jets organization means his AHL team is in the same city as his NHL club. Hopefully he gets a crack on the Jets blueline for a look.

Josh Currie and the Bakersfield Condors are ultra hot right now. They are in the midst of a 13 game winning streak.
Currie is playing on the wing with a couple of Edmonton’s better NHL prospects, Tyler Benson and Cooper Marody.
With the Oilers in chaos, I’d love to see Josh get a look in the NHL. This is the last season he will be waiver exempt, so right now he is an easy guy to call up and demote.
Here’s a game story looking at Josh’s success:
