Would an 18yr old Dakota Lund-Cornish be of interest to Moncton? I don't know if the Islanders would want to do that. If they gave up Lund-Cornish and got no goalie in return, they'd have to go with Nolan Boyd. I don't think Boyd is good enough yet. I understand that... I also understand that Welsh isn't going anywhere.......and Hulton wont hold DLC back... Just tossing it out there..

So, for example's sake, let's say McKenna gets traded to Charlottetown along with 18th overall and 27th overall. Wildcats then own 4th overall. I'm hearing Shawinigan wants to make a splash with the draft in their rink. Do we flip 4th to Shawinigan which would give them back-to-back picks? At the same time, Moncton gets 11th overall, 28th overall and 33rd overall. If you have to give up McKenna plus the 18th and 27th for the 4th, that's a horrible trade. I heard RN is giving up the 6th overall and a player for Boudrias. McKenna should be worth the 4th plus a top young player or 1st in 2019 at least.

Leclerc, Dickner and Ozzie King to Moncton from BC for a 3rd and a 7th.
That spells the end of Grametbauer with the Cats.

I thought he was a good goalie but I'm not sure he's an improvement on Gravel. Hopefully they have a spot for him somewhere and they aren't just bringing in another 20 goalie for competition in camp. I think Grametbauer deserves that at least.

He would be a huge upgrade on the 2nd half version of Gravel...but not sure they would pay for an OA goalie...you'd think they would go hard after D'orio.

Hearing the McKenna deal doesent have much life to it. Don’t know if the dude knows anything or not but wouldn’t suprise me if nothing gets done. I think it’ll be a really quiet day for Charlottetown.

Hodge has an article up talking about trading Waite and they say Grametbauer will be the starter. Unless something has changed in a few hours or the Leclerc trade makes no sense. Also, the article seems to discount MacDonald as a potential backup.

Leclerc, Dickner and Ozzie King to Moncton from BC for a 3rd and a 7th. That spells the end of Grametbauer with the Cats. This is a really sneaky deal for the Wildcats. Ozzie King is a 2000 born winger, 6'3 with good skill, didn't want to play in Quebec so he played an extra year in Midget... bit of a late bloomer. Still, I fully expect him to play and be a middle 6 guy. He could easily chip in 15-20 goals and 35-45 points at 19 imo. Dickner may spell the end for a guy like G Blackmoore, who was a Shannon project. Both are 1999's, they'll battle for a spot in camp. As mentioned the Leclerc acquisition is interesting... basically opening the door for Grametbauer to be traded. (Probably not to Rimouski ;P)

He was the 3rd overall pick, right?
