I could probably check myself, but did any QMJHL goalie prospects get chosen? No. The surprising thing to me is that Theo Rochette was chosen. I thought he was planning on still playing for Switzerland.

The surprising thing to me is that Theo Rochette was chosen. I thought he was planning on still playing for Switzerland. Agreed. He played for the Swiss two months ago at the Hlinka Gretzky tournament. Will now represent Canada at the World Under 17s. Once you play in a IIHF sanctioned event, you can no longer switch countries. That's the rule.

Here's another. To Moncton: 2020 2nd round pick (Charlottetown) To Sherbrooke: 2019 2nd round pick (Sherbrooke) That appears to be linked to the MacDonald trade. I wonder if the 2020 pick goes back if Jacques never reports. That was the condition... Jeremy Jacques has agreed to report to Sherbrooke. Moncton will not have to send a future 2nd round pick to the Phoenix.

That appears to be linked to the MacDonald trade. I wonder if the 2020 pick goes back if Jacques never reports. That was the condition... Jeremy Jacques has agreed to report to Sherbrooke. Moncton will not have to send a future 2nd round pick to the Phoenix. The Cats get a 2nd in 2020 once he reports. the pick likely comes at midseason or at the draft.
