Hurt himself last week. Wildcats still don't know if he will need surgery. The trade for Leclerc was made in the event of a long-term injury. Any info on how/what Grametbauer injured? I believe I read that it was a groin tear

Hole in one with Hillier. Two over with Desnoyers. A terrible 51 over with Spence. +53 to finish the round. That's a bad day of golf. If that's the way you are scoring it, then your "hole in one" is actually just a par.

Either way, If Grametbauer is long term, then keep Leclarc and when GB is healthy then move mark...I would trade Mark before I trade Leclarc due to the fact we paid a price for him...I also think they if he doesn’t the will move Mark regardless in a package to get a minute logging An to shore up the back end...either way we probably won’t hear much on GB injury status til Camp in Aug

How about just giving an english summary for us unilingual english losers. Desnoyers: Very fast. Physical. Complete player. Won't be an elite scorer but will be a very smart player. Spence: Offensive defenseman. Powerplay specialist. Good first pass. Kingsbury-Fournier: Up and down season. Could be a steal in 3 years. A more consistent season would've made him a 1st round pick. Lavallee: Best goalie available. Big, agile, fast. Hiller: Smart player. Good speed and hands. Stammer: Small but very hard working. Strong on his skates. Walker: Offensive defenseman. Hard and accurate shot.

From everything I heard on the weekend there’s a good chance Desnoyers and Spence crack the lineup..I have a feeling Spence will be top 4 DMan next season...
I think Kingsbury-Fournier will push for 4th line but next year will compete for a roster spot...Lavellée is the steal for me..he’ll be a starter in 2-3 yrs is my guess
Hiller and Bérubé will be nice peices in couple years...if we can have a DCore with Bérubé and Spence..means we had a great draft..lol
My guess is 4 or 5 picks will be starters in 3 years

Spence is already 17 and Desnoyers has played two years MAAA already. The others it will likely depend on their play as well as what trades or free agents come.

Yea Spence already has a year playing Jr. A, and when I saw him for live he was the best player on the ice. I really like his game, he's aggressive. He should easily play this year.
Hillier I thought was a bit of a steal, quite fast and skilled.
We had Stammer much higher than he was taken... 47 I believe.
They picked up a couple other players I like too
Gavin Watt One of the most improved players I saw all year, started off slow, had trouble handling the puck and finishing on chances, but right around November he started to find his stride and was the best player for Cole Harbour on most nights. He's qucik, he works hard and he's not at all afraid to throw a hit. He'll put pucks into corners and by the time the defense goes to retrieve, he's right on top of them, and if they don't respect him he'll make them pay with a hard hit. He's got some finish offensively too, he mostly gets the garbage goals, his hands are catching up to the rest of his game and he's finishing in traffic.
Evan Jackson I think this kid is a sneaky good pick. He's not going to blow anyone away with his skill or size, but damn does he works hard and never stops moving his feet. I think the best way to describe him is with an anecdote : I saw him killing a penalty, something he's quite good at, a puck came loose near him, and where most players at the midget level would take a second to settle the puck down and clear it, Jackson took off at full speed immediately, and in stride put the puck high off the glass into the neutral zone, the D man at the point took a second to look at the puck flying by his head, but by the time he looked back Jackson was already by him, because he never stopped moving his feet. Of course these are all teachable skills, but you can't teach effort and compete, and Jackson has that and just a natural instinct to play the game the right way.
Josh Crooks is an interesting one as well. Played in the new Nova Scotia Minor midget league last year, will almost certainly be a key player for the Macs next year. He's got good size, and skill, and he's really benefited from the ice time at the lower level.

Along with Desnoyers and Spence. Kingsbury-Fournier will need another year of Midget AAA. He was a 2nd line player on Esther-Blondin this year. Give him the chance to play top minutes and be a leader. I'd send Lavallee back too. My darkhorse to make this year's roster as a 16 year old is Sam Dow.

Likely Bathurst after Murdaca's GAA is 10.75 by Christmas.
