Parade to the Wildcats dressing room in the last half of the third. Such a tricky thing for coaches to deal with. The Wildcats with zero care about the score and only trying to slash, hit and cross-check the Armada for running up the score. But what should a coach do? Tell his players to stop scoring? Is it better to run the clock out and get to the next game without injuries or throw caution to the wind and run the score and accept the risks?

Rumble usually has the guys bounce back after a tough loss. The loss was filled with mental errors, lack of discipline and lost assignments, and not really lack of effort, so hopefully, they bring some crazy intensity tonight. Barre-Boulet and Batherson looked frazzled during the first period, with the Cats laying the body. If not for that unfortunate Shorty, they might have pulled it off. Wildcats win a wild one today! 5-3 Cats, Phelan with an empty-netter. Guess that hypothesis hit the ground at high rate of descent , overspeed warning horn blaring with a big smoking hole in the ground.

I hope the deposit on the Aitken Centre wasn’t non-refundable!

Wishful thinking was on the menu and I was terribly disappointed by my selection! This Blainville team is the cream of the of the league. Would love to steal a game, but I wouldn't bank on anything but a sweep. The boys got some playoff experience for next year, so that's a positive.

It wouldn’t surprise me with a B-B sweep either, this team has it all together. Lots of undisciplined stick work by Wildcats in third that was costly and allowed B-B to rack up the score.

We were out played terribly....a couple soft goals against early and that ridiculous display of slashing penalties in the 3rd sealed the deal for an extremely talented ARMADA team. I'd like to see them steal a game or two but they have to play a whole lot better and change up their approach, because whatever it is they are trying certainly isn't working..

Wildcats just can’t match the speed. I mean yes Blainville is talented but they are way faster than us right now and we have no time to make any decisions, too slow to react, move the puck. Are we just too gassed from 7 game series vs Armada sweep (4 game) to match their speed and intensity? Won’t be much of a fight if we can’t find another gear. They are fast and smothering. It's not just about footspeed it's about pace of the game. WC seem to have a lot of guys that are getting exposed this series for playing lazy...Macdonald McKenna and Khovanov for example. They have to move their feet and work for their chances and they are not.

There are just a much better team...
You are bang on with the difference in pace. They make/receive good passes as we fumble the puck.
Like all good teams, they take advantage of mistakes and make it hurt.
Do they have a decent fighter? If the shoe was on the other foot I'd be pissed we didn't send somebody out to fight given the amount of cheap slashes.

Plus without the puck they are constantly pressuring the puck to create turnovers. The cats have a few slow guys and a few guys that don't always move their feet and they were exposed. Miromanov looks like a forward on D and Welsh looks overworked. For the most part they have been playing with 2 pairs. Tucker/Arsenault barely play and Lecloutre is subbed in with Sylvestre Apirot and Miromanov, welsh is on at least half the game.

Got to think Aspirot gets suspended for kicking Barre-Boulet? If not he is lucky. It wasn't a big kick...but a kick nonetheless and the cameras caught it. I know the score was out of reach, but still a lot of really dumb penalties...it creates a bad precedent plus refs will watch for that stuff next game. I better not hear Rumble whining about the refs in the TT...

Seitz was classless. Hopefully coaching on Blainville side have more control than Rumble had today for the three games .

I wouldn't pick on Aspirot or Seitz. Those two plus Campinelli seem to be the only ones having an effect. Phelan is struggling to find space but many of them play like they accept their fate. I like players that show up, it shows character. I wouldn't criticize passion and heart just because sometimes it comes out wrong. They will be fine.

I think it boils down to Moncton not being as skilled as Blaineville. No excuses are necessary. Moncton finished last in the league just 12 months ago. Now their facing possibly the best junior team in the Country. Blaineville is playing at a totally different level than the Cats. Being discouraged by the outcome is like Halifax being discouraged when they lost to Moncton in the 2006 playoffs in round #2. The outcome is pretty much etched in stone. Everyone knew barring a miracle that Moncton had zero chance to win this series. I'm happy they made it through Rimouski! Winning 1 against the Armada would just be gravy.
