Anybody know why Pelletier wasn't on the bench for the third period? I didn't notice him take any big hits in the first or second period. Hope it's nothing serious

Look at all the assets good old Rog gave up for Sylvestre and MacDonald and they have done what exactly? They could have gotten MacDonald if they just drafted him anyway. This team is a shit show due to the people at the top namely Shannon and RKI.

I thought Sylvestre had a good game , played it simple some good hits , not his fault Shannon overpaid to get him . As for Macdonald, he needs to work on his play without the puck , he has a great shot but needs to work on the rest of his game, again not his fault Shannon overpaid to get him.
In this series it is the 1st place team against a 14th place team and it shows ! Moncton had like 4 shots on goal at the end of the second ! Good job by Pataki to try and get the team going , but Moncton couldn’t respond with any pressure.
Great series against a good Rimouski team , the boys really came together to close that series out. Go Cats
I thought Bathurst had a good team .... then I watched the Armada , should be a good final !

But they will paint this season as a big success because they won a playoff round and RKI won't clean house as he should... |

You must have been looking at a different game, on 2 of the goals he looked like a deer in the headlights, had no clue who to take or what to do. The most noticeable he was cross checking guys after the whistle, unfortunately that doesn't win games. The problem is, the Cats have a team that should be a lot better than 14th. Most of the regulars are 18-20. Usually 14th place teams are very young with 8-10 guys that are 16-17...WC have 5. BBA 3-20 6-19 12-18 4-17 Mon 3-20 4-19 11-18 4-17 1-16 The roster composition is very similar. |

True, but they rely on him a lot more. BBA's constant puck pressure limits the chances they give up. Victo is not nearly as good without the puck. |

Not sure why you dislike sylvestre so much he played top 4 minutes all night , which defenseman played well in your opinion ? Noticed that you used the plus minus stat which when used by other posters , you said that you didn’t like that stat ! If you check the stats on the CHL website Only Aspirot has a better plus minus than Slyvestre for Moncton , Welsh has the most points and the worst plus minus - 10 and le Coultre -7 and Miromanov who is second in points is a -5.
I think Aspirot is our best defensman and really missed him last night , but at least Sylvestre registered 6 hits,

If you check the stats on the CHL website Only Aspirot has a better plus minus than Slyvestre for Moncton , Welsh has the most points and the worst plus minus - 10 and le Coultre -7 and Miromanov who is second in points is a -5. I must say that you have been very consistent all season in your criticism of the Wildcats.... I cannot see them part of the contenders next season either. Bathurst will be a trainwreck next season. Thanks for that lottery pick. That is what was predicted about the Islanders for the present season. That was also what was expected from Chicoutimi and they made a reasonable playoff appearance. I will be a very happy fan whatever happens next season if the Titan win it all. RIght now we are getting into round 3 for the first time in the last 12 years. |
