Is anyone else embarrassed by what is on the front of this board? Winners of third pick, losers of import draft now runners up of memorial cup. Come on it's an embarrassment. Nothing at all about it shows and class. I find it comical. |

At first maybe but after a while it seems childish. Maybe it will get better now that we are back to rebuild. We have some legit draft choices and a shitload of high end players to trade at Christmas in a Q MemCup year. Should be at least 4 teams in legitimate contention, toss in a couple more wantabes so it should be a good sellers market. |

We have some legit draft choices and a shitload of high end players to trade at Christmas in a Q MemCup year. Should be at least 4 teams in legitimate contention, toss in a couple more wantabes so it should be a good sellers market. Even if we are back into a proper rebuild ... we still have Shannon in charge making bonehead deals and decisions. Until he is gone ... nothing will "get better". |

The pressure for next year is off, so things might change here soon. In the last four years where has the pressure come from ? We can go back before there was ever Memorial Cup Bid and show you terrible trades and drafting decisions by Shannon. |

This would be a good time to clean house. Just how many years do you want to rebuild? Tweak or major tweak but no blow it up. I think if you clean house and put a strong front office in place, they can contend for 2020 with a small step back next year. They do have some assets but obviously the Sylvestre and MacDonald deals took a huge bite out of them. I think the goal in junior is to be able to build a championship contender while not having to completely empty the cupboards so you can do a pretty quick rebuild without having to do like the 16-17 WC team and trade everybody. |

This would be a good time to clean house. Source(inside JDI) told me he hasn’t heard any rumblings(pardon the pun) about major structural changes since announcement on MC bid, seems quiet. Efforts are directed at making the introduction to new facility as positive/seemless as possible. Then again, who knows and who can say it this point. |

It was put there by the Moncton Wildcat fan that moderates the board the Moncton Wildcats board. The Wildcats aren't affiliated with this board. The moderator used their dumb marketing slogan as a tongue in cheek slogan for the board for the past 11 months. They decided to make a new one for the Memorial Cup using Moncton Wildcats logic. If this kind of stuff gets you upset, it might be best to avoid the internet, especially a sports message board largely composed of men. |
