So the cats marketing team has put that on there and left it there for over a year. I doubt it. It's been put there and left by someone that has the power to show their displeasure on that page. It makes moncton fans look like spoiled rotten brats. It was put there by the Moncton Wildcat fan that moderates the board the Moncton Wildcats board. The Wildcats aren't affiliated with this board. The moderator used their dumb marketing slogan as a tongue in cheek slogan for the board for the past 11 months. They decided to make a new one for the Memorial Cup using Moncton Wildcats logic. If this kind of stuff gets you upset, it might be best to avoid the internet, especially a sports message board largely composed of men. As grown adults we can find humor in their marketing without applying to same logic to drag down this board though can't we? It's over kill. Was funny for a short period of time. Just makes the marketing person and the mod both look childish. 2 wrongs aren't making a right here, imo. We should be above childish marketing stunts as real fans of these teams. These boards arent team affiliated so defending it using that logic is just a rather easy cop out to me. |

I should add that it's the mobile version of the board with that text on it that stands out as ridiculous to me.
Every other board has a 1 liner explaining what it is....this one has caps and exclamation points making fun of a slogan from a year ago.
If I could actually hide the board from my mobile version to get rid of it I would.

If it doesn't meet your needs I don't think your comments are going to change that. I think your right. I guess some don't care or write it off as there is lots of stuff like this on the internet. I won't lose sleep over it. Just think moncton fans are better then that is all. So on to bigger and better things. How many fans are making the trek to Fredericton? Has anyone heard of buses going up? I'm assuming if buses are going it would be organised by the booster club. |

If you can't see how stale that is after this long then your hilarious meme's and random google image pictures don't mean much. To most grown adults that kind of stuff just stops being funny over time. It was literally an LOL moment for about 24 hours. Isn't that fact even more reason for the main resource about the team that's not team affiliated to have not quite the over the top cynical attitude that many do though to the point that the board itself has to be dripping in it with that title header on the front page? And while the country may be "free"(different meaning to every person, btw) that works 2 ways. Everyone has an opinion. |

Hmm - the mobile app on iPhone hasn't worked for me for many months, and I thought I had read it was an incompatibility with 10.something of iOS. Does the mobile app work for anyone else on iPhone?

Even if we are back into a proper rebuild ... we still have Shannon in charge making bonehead deals and decisions. Until he is gone ... nothing will "get better". This would be a good time to clean house. Maybe Monday. |
