That would be ideal so the Cats can keep that 3rd round pick sent to BC for Leclerc. Is that a condition in the trade ? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the Cats get their 3rd back if Leclerc doesn’t play a game for them.

Hearing Tristan DeJong will be in the Wildcats lineup for today’s game in St Stephen.
That’s a pretty strong indication that he has signed.

Is this one of the reasons that Leclerc hadn't dressed for a game yet or is it because they want to see the other guys fighting for the backup role more?

I assume the condition of the trade is based up on him playing a regular season game. Doubt that pre-season has any impact. With the amount of pre-season games they have might as well play the guys battling for the back-up position early on.

Not often you see a guy with 4 goals including one in OT in a 4-2 win...

A) how the hell do you win 4-2 in OT when the games was already 3-2 Seadogs after regulation?
B) that performance will most certainly be the end of me Alec MacDonald as one of our netminders no?

You win 4-2 in OT when the Q site screws up the score Or when the sea dogs and wildcats both literally tweet out that it was 3-2

Is that the team's position or your opinion? I want to believe Gaudreault is a solid back up, but he didn't stop anything vs SJ. Sure the cats were outmatched, but your goalie's job is to give you a chance. If they were just looking for an AF goalie, MacDonald is in Truro, about 90 minutes away. I'm confident the team's position is going with Gaudreault as the back-up. They Cut Gaudreault today? Gotta admit I am pretty surprised, guess the backup this year is Lavallée cause it certainly won’t bw Alec McDonald...

As 16 year old he should be getting tons of work and I doubt that'd be the case behind a 20 year old goalie. Also, Hodge was hyping up that the Cats would be making trades. I wonder if they tried to shop Dickner
