Lost in all this is that.. the American picks actually showed up so it looks like 1 pick out of the whole draft isn’t here this year and sounds like he’ll be here next year, no point in coming for 48 hours when he’s plannig to play another year at St. Andrews.

In a vacuum, Hillier not coming is not a big deal...but when you pile it on top of the bad picks of the last 3-4 years plus Sylvestre and MacDonald trades it gets frustrating for most fans I'm sure. My guess is Hodge got the list from Thibeault. Jesus, are we still doing this MacDonald thing? I would say "most" fans have zero clue who Mark Hillier even is, so I doubt there is much frustration aside from a few hardcores who follow the team religiously Doing the "MacDonald thing"? I don't get it? The team has been mismanaged for years, passing on a high Euro pick to keep Lecoultre and having one of the highest picks not report will not make fans happy. I'm talking about fans that go to most games, mostly season ticket holders...however, being mediocre won't help bring casual fans either once the new building novelty wears off. |

Bringing back Le Coultre and not having a better Euro lined up at the draft is a way bigger deal than Hillier to me. |

Haven't seen anyone mention that Brandon Walker IS in camp. 10th round pick because he is considering NCAA options but was ranked 51st by HP and 45th by CSR. Would be nice to be able to get him in the fold considering how thin the Cats are on defensive prospects.

The fact that there is 3 goalies in camp that are righties is insane. It’s rare to see 1 in 100 but 3/9 is pretty good
