Wonder where he fits with a full lineup? Pelletier-McKenna-Cyr have been on fire ... Desnoyers and Hudson have both staked a strong claim to a top 6 spot alongside Khovanov ... Seitz, Pataki and Capanelli have also played well ... Short term, Desnoyers is out for the U17s and Capanelli may or may not be in the lineup ... nice to have depth. If they are still shopping him, I'm sure they will play him top 6 and on the PP to build his value. I'd put him on the 2nd line with Khovanov and Hudson.

If this isn't the Wildcats year then they need to trade McKenna at Christmas. He most likely won't be back next year and in a Mem Cup Host year he could garner a king's ransom.
What's wrong with the fans in Moncton? Brand new building, first place team, most exciting young D-man in the Q and the top scoring line in the league yet only 3,800 on a Friday night??

What's wrong with the fans in Moncton? Brand new building, first place team, most exciting young D-man in the Q and the top scoring line in the league yet only 3,800 on a Friday night?? I would hazard a guess most casual fans have no idea who Jordan Spence is. People tend to overestimate the "casual fan" If you go look at crowds late October/November from last year attendance is still on par or better for every game. Some examples below. 27 2017-10-27 Val-d'Or 2 Moncton 5 FINAL 3321 Game Centre Moncton Coliseum 132 2017-10-28 Victoriaville 3 Moncton 6 FINAL 3930 Game Centre Moncton Coliseum 170 2017-11-08 Baie-Comeau 2 Moncton 3 FINAL 3021 Game Centre Moncton Coliseum Most on here seemed to be going with the doom & gloom that there will be no one in the building because of gridlocked traffic and no where to park, which hasnt been the case whatesoever. In fact I am home from the game faster than I was at the coliseum. Then they made a 3-4 page thread going off about security..completely laughable. Going through security takes a matter of seconds and has no impact on my experience. Expecting 5000 fans for a hockey game in November in Moncton against Valdor is just expecting too much, doesnt matter what the arena is. Crowds will pick up closer to christmas and afterwards, as the last 20+ years has always shown. The key with this building was always the additional revenue from corporate boxes, which have mostly been full throughout the season so far, along with a better fan experience and options before and after the game to spend money. I am one of the biggest supporters of this project since the start and the crowds have been what I expected, slight increase due to increased season ticket sales, and corporate suites mostly full.

Have not had any issues so far. I get home 15-20 minutes earlier most games mainly because walk to my car and just drive away, also use to rush out and run to my car not anymore take my time walking out. To me it's all positive.

Indeed, leaving the rink and heading out into main street & the other surrounding sreets with a bunch of other Wildcat fans is a much more enjoyable experience even if you aren't going to a bar afterwards. You tend to not mind lingering around. Heading to your car in a parking lot the size of an ocean at the coliseum was quite depressing overall, all you wanted to do was get out of there. back on the topic of trades Last night showed the glaring lack of depth on defence. Like WhiteTy suggested adding a guy like Girard for cheap would be helpful in the case of injuries.

I think we should wait and see where we are at Christmas after playing a tougher schedule. They are winning now and are deep up front , the defence could use more depth but are getting the job done, goaltending has been good and Lavalle is getting experience, I think we have a very good team and wouldn’t mess with the chemistry, if a good depth defenceman or faceoff guy can be added without giving away much then pull the trigger but, Moncton does not seem to do well in trades since 2009 when I started following them .
Let them play and see how they do , as long as Rumble keeps playing the rookie’s on a regular shift and giving them more ice time when injuries or players are away , I think we will be a tough team to play against come playoff time.
There is an old saying “If it ain’t broke don’t fIx it “ as a season ticket holder I’m excited about this years team !
