Didn't the rule change that if your goalie is a 20 you can still carry 3 other 20's or is that going into affect next year?

It's funny to think Stairs might have made most other Q teams this year but could not make SJ due to the 16 YO limit. I haven't seen him play this year. Is there much that separates him from Brady Burns as prospects?

So, who is missing of the other 16 year olds? Nobody. Did they get permission to dress 6 sixteens for the weekend? Will they rotate Lawrence and Burns out of the lineup or sit one of the D?

Station nation just tweeted out that with the addition of Danisov, Tyler Higgins was let go. Dawson stairs looked good last night in his first game , he’ll be a guy to look forward to in the future

It is nice to see the Armada dropping in the standings. If the season ended today I think the pick would be a lottery pick.
At this point D'Orio is our only real trade-able commodity. We can probably move someone like Poirier or Burt but I can't imagine getting anything worth while. It would be better to keep them in our lineup than get a mid round pick.

The Armada will be sellers and will hopefully continue to drop in the standings. I also agree that there isn't much point in moving any 19 year olds, unless we were to get an unexpected worthwhile offer. Poirier could end up being captain next year and Burt could also be back next year if he resists the bad habits during the off-season. Right now I think those 2 and NDP will be the 3 20s next year (obviously assuming D'Orio gets moved), on a team that will hopefully take a significant step forward. If a better option becomes available at a very cheap price then great but for now I'd expect to have those 3 back.

Assuming D'Orio isn't here after Christmas, I see our lineup something like:
Cajkovic - Lawrence - Plamondon Burns* - Prikryl - Burt Poirier - Deakin-Poot - Boucher White - Wilson - MacIntosh Jacob Clark
Villeneuve - Campoli DesRoches - Poirier Larose - Sibley Gallant
Denisov Da Silva
(I'd prefer Burns on the 3rd line with someone capable of playing 2nd line above him for the 2nd half even if it is at the expense of someone lower)
Which could lead to:
Cajkovic - Lawrence - Plamondon Stairs - Prikryl - Burt Poirier - Deakin-Poot - Burns White - Wilson - O'Neill MacIntosh White/Clark/Jacob
Villeneuve - Sibley DesRoches - Poirier Larose - Gallant Kakouras
Da Silva/Bagnell/Savoie Bagnell/Savoie/Da Silva
next year.

Unless things change drastically between now and the rest of the season, I don't see us passing on what will almost certainly be a high import pick.

Unless the two Euros that we have start performing and producing better than they have been, the Dogs will certainly look to replace at least one of them with our first Euro pick.

According to John Moore, Dixon said Cajkovic was scratched tonight because of attitude.
