What a fantastic game. Cats deserved this one tonight. They just couldn’t buy any breaks around the net. 3 or 4 posts early plus BC blocked probably 30 shots. Cats badly miss Pelletier’s presence in front and Spence moving the puck around and the point, but what can ya do... everybody stepped it up and they just came up short on the puck luck. They put a physical beating on the Drakkar though which could pay off later. BC is also making sure to get their shots in after the whistles. Especially in scrums in front of the net. Cats showed great composure. BC must not have scouted the cats, they scored twice with McKenna being wide open with under 4 minutes left. Strange part is, in OT they had him on his strong side, not his off wing. On the PP Mckenna plays the left side, as we all know. BC has been giving him no space and are right on him when the puck comes to him, forcing him to dish the puck off. On those two late goals last night they gave him space both times, so they got away from their game plan.

I’m expecting Pelletier back in the lineup for Game 4. Rumour at the rink was that he would play game 4 if Moncton lost game 3. My uneducated guess is, if he plays tonight, it's at much less than 100%, ankle sprains don't heal very quickly and an extra 24 hours won't change much. He can still be effective, but not his usual self.

To the "cats fan" 🙄 Sitting 5 rows back of the visitors bench Complaining to security about the noise. It's a hockey game. If it wasn't for the fans in front of you making the noise the place would've been dead. You're an idiot. Please tell me security "Quietly" escorted this person out.... or laughed at their complaint I was talking to security and they where having a good laugh

Whoever wins tonight wins the series I'm not sure if you know this or not.... but in many hockey leagues (Including the Q) it's a best of 7 series, not a best of 3. You need FOUR games to win a series. So, let's do the math together here: Moncton wins: 1 - (4-1 = 3 more wins) Drakkar wins: 2 - (4-2 = 2 more wins) Sorry to burst your bubble, lots of hockey left to be played I suggested this be4 the final result if Moncton won or Baie Comeau I know you need to win 4 games but Baie Comeau has snin the driver seat now I hope Moncton comes back and wins though

The game they played last night was to not open it up and play all 4 lines. Having JP only play Pp makes that harder.

Last night's game might have been best game they played all season considering opponent/circumstances.... Hopefully more puck luck tonight, same effort and a W.

That would then fall on the coach for how he's managing his bench. Running a hot forward or rotating say your top 2 LW's into the 4th line for 4-6 shifts per period or so would have nothing to do with not using your 4th line at all.

This is pretty much a non issue. Torchetti plays his 4th line plenty...much more than Rumble did.
Give me Pelletier @ 80% and put Stewart as the 6th D/4th line forward and use him as a utility man.

I'll try my hand at arm chair coaching too. In my opinion 1 of Aspirot or Sylvestre should always be on the ice tonight. Spot Dejong/Stewart the odd shift when somebody is gassed.
