Stockton Heat @ahlheat Replying to @loretelli_phil Rosters get submitted to the league on Thursday! 6:39 PM · Oct 1, 2019·Twitter Web App May not be final rosters for the entire year but opening day rosters have to be finalized and submitted to league by today, according to Stocktons official Twitter account. I get what you're saying, rosters can fluctuate during the season, but as far as setting finalized rosters to the league whether it stays that way or not, its today. Hope we get good news.

Providence appears to be rolling with 9D including Axel.
They already have a regular season roster listed.

I'm only regurgitating the information that Stockton is providing via their media publications. "Rosters get submitted to the league on Thursday!" 6:39 PM · Oct 1, 2019·Twitter Web App This indicates to me anyways that there is some sort of deadline to have their roster that they're planning to roll with this season. If it changes throughout (which I believe we can all agree with that it can), there is an obvious indication that something need to be sent into the league regarding a final roster. Hope this clarifies any misconceptions.

If they are on the roster then they get their AHL pay scale ... if they are not on the roster then they likely are getting the ECHL pay scale.

Bakersfield has submitted their roster at the deadline the last few years. The roster can change, but it indicates that he's likely at least weeks away from possibly joining Moncton. Also keep in mind that AHL vet rules create weird situations for numbers at times. Teams often have to choose between dressing a top 6 forward or a top 4 D.

Not the point of your tweet I'm sure, but that's what happened to our boy Alex Grenier. I thought he was playing with Utica, but, I guess that may have been a while ago. But anyway, McKenna being sent to Kansas City... I guess we wait and see if he stays there.

Does anyone know if McKenna's contract guarantees AHL money in the ECHL? That could be a major factor from his pov.
