McKenna serait de retour LHJMQ.... on attend l'annonce des Wildcats.. Ce qu'on me dit, son lit est entrain de se préparer à son ancienne pension. Looks like things are picking up speed... Mckenna going back to his previous billets?.. Perfect. Not many guys like going the ECHL route. I imagine his arrival makes it a whole lot more attractive to go all in now by Torchetti. If Axelsson shows, then the Cats just got a whole lot better fast.

With McKenna returning and the unexpected production they are getting from L'Heureux, the top 6 is looking pretty stacked. What a shot in the arm this is for the fan base. Not sure I would say stacked but it’s very top heavy. Pelletier Khovanov and McKenna can be impact guys. Cyr is a high end 2nd liner. Desnoyers should be a solid 2nd liner, though he’s been a bit invisible so far. L’heureux looks good. Ideally he is on a 3rd line if you are contending. He is built sturdy but 16 year olds usually hit a wall around the 50 game mark. I would say if you get McKenna and you are serious you add another 2nd line guy. Hudson and Lheureux are 3rd liners that can jump up, assuming Hudson picks it up. On defense Ansersson would be big. Aspiriot’s loss likely requires a stud d-man added. McIssaac might be the only one available assuming Hal sells. Spence is your #3 and either Huntley(depends if you get an OA forward) or DeJong is your 4th. Hopefully Stewart has a big year. Agree they could still improve the top 6. Desnoyer might be a better fit with Hudson on the third line in my opinion if they added another guy. With McKenna & Pelletier as 90 pt guys last year. Cyr & Khovanov 70 pt guys all now returned for another year older and more experience, I don't think its out of line to its stacked. Outside of McIsaac, Bergeron or Arsenault from Rouyn would be really nice adds with loads of big game experience. Still see them as sellers at x-mas.

I’m not sure the owner would have allowed them to sell even without McKenna and/or Anderssen…if both are back, no away in hell do they sell. I hope they buy to win not just win a playoff round, go big or stay home!

Actually, it says that chances are higher than what is generally expected. So since nobody sees him coming back, anything will be more than nothing Just saying... But it would be great if he did come back with the Cats. Ahem!! ;-) Haha, but I commenting on the translation. I very well know Marco's source, which is a good one BTW, whom I also know, and agree with most of the time. Just saying

Ok ... something to consider. So lets assume its all true and McKenna will be back within say a week. Seitz is clearly the odd man out and he probably knows it by now. He probably knew he was going when the talk about Joly from Rimouski popped up.
IMO ... Seitz is a loose cannon and I would not be surprised to see him do something tonight or tomorrow night that is suspendable. Lets say he gives out a head shot tonight and gets one of those 7 game suspensions. Even though Seitz is likely gone after Saturday's game, a 20 YO would have to sit out for the duration of his suspension.
If I am Torchetti I sit him out tonight and tomorrow night to avoid that whole thing. Tough situation ... I know.

Aspirot made the season opening roster, but they are carrying eight defensemen to start the season - he is the youngest by two years. Will be interesting to see where he fits on their depth chart- still a chance he could end up back here as well ...

It never made any sense to me ... if your goalie gets suspended, they don't make you play short a goalie for the duration of his suspension ... a d-man gets suspended, they don't make you play with five d-men until he is back ... so why if an OA gets suspended do you have to play with two OAs until he is eligible to return?

Seitz was pretty tame last night. Don't think there's any concerns there. He's probably hoping he can find a spot on another team like Giguere did.

Probably because in most circumstances, the 4th 20 year old on your list is not likely your 13th best forward. The punishment of the suspension is not felt at its fullest if you can replace the suspended player with a similar replacement.
